Allow for Preauthorizing a tokenized credit card within Mews via the Connector API
While an actual charge can be done, there is not a way to preauthorize a credit card tokenized within Mews via the Connector API. This would allow for integrations in the US to automatically topup the preauthorization's within Mews.

Confirmed Date of Reservation
It would be great if we could get the Confirmed Date from a Reservation out of the API. Mews shows this in their own report(s), but it's not available in the Connector API.

Hotek Keycutter multiple keys in one command
Mews now send and API call to Hotek Key cutter for only one key at a time, if you want to create multiple keys at a time it send it separately and not in one command. We check with Hotek and they confirmed to us that Mews send multiple keys creating in different commands and not in one command. This cause a lot of irritation with people at the reception, because it's not clear when the first key is created and when they need to put the second key on the card reader. Allowing duplicate keys is not and option…

Return Employee GUID in response
For actions taken in Mews that appear on the Action Log, allow the employee GUID of who made the change (such as rates) to be shown in the response.

Extend the timefilter to have a UPDATED timefilter, so that you can retrieve all accounting items that have been created/modified within a certain timeframe.
This way you can easily fetch for example "give me all items that were changed since yesterday".
Advantage: If you would like to know if there were new accounting items modified/created since the last time you checked, you do not need to get all items for the entire future. That would save a lot of bandwidth and processing (on both server/client side)9 votesHello all,

Manage product rates depending on the date
Be able to modifiy the product rate depending on the date booked. For example, if you have "Dinner" as a product and its price is changing depending on the day of the week (weekdays or weekends) or the period of the year (Christmas, August...) it is going to be awesome to be able to change its price for every single day you need to.

At check in, it would be nice to be able to encode the keycard from within MEWS and get the option for more doors (next to the room lock) that can be opened with the same keycard, like: fitness, garage, safe, second door.

Open "Chat with us" messages to Integrators/Third-party services
Within Mews mails sent out to guests, there is a “Chat with us” button that allows guests to initiate conversations with the hotel. These messages can currently only be viewed inside of MEWS itself and not within third-party integrations/services.
By allowing other services or integrators to access these messages, integrators would be able to enhance their service offerings by providing a unified communication platform, improve operational efficiency by centralizing guest interactions.

Show Resdiary table reservations in the booking and not just in the guest profile
Resdiary table reservations are created and managed in the guest profile via a separate tab. This really works great!
But it would be very helpful if you could also see the reservation in the room reservation, or at least a symbol that there is a table reservation.8 votes -

Visionline - encode second room to be opened by the card in field 4 of key creation command
In the current Visonline integration with Mews, Mews only sends one room number/lock id to be encoded in Visionline. This presents an operational challenge for properties that have the following room structure:
6228 - main suite (parent space)
230 - private room for 2 persons (child space)
228 - dorm room with 4 beds (child space with 4 additional child spaces nested)
228-1,2,3,4 - four separate dorm beds230 and 228 can be sold separately, as is any of the four beds. A party of 6 can also book the entire suite 6228.

Create/Edit Vouchers and Voucher Codes via API
Adding functionatlity to create/edit vouchers and their codes would be useful for a number of use cases.
Firstly in my opinion the Mews process for creating this is a little clunky, especially if you want to track the usage of each VC as it needs to be it's own Voucher, there's no way to track the codes within that voucher.
Therefore lets say you have a staff friends & family rate, and you want the voucher code to be the employee name so you can track usage and abuse of the incentive.
Creating additional codes for an already created voucher…

Roomcheking - Assaabloy do not disturb and make my room status
Assaabloy provides now door locks solution with possibility to the guest to press a button to set status do not disturb or make my room.
Does the DND/make my room status communication between Commander and Assa Abloy could be developped ?
Then communication between commander and roomchecking ?
