Confirmed Date of Reservation
It would be great if we could get the Confirmed Date from a Reservation out of the API. Mews shows this in their own report(s), but it's not available in the Connector API.

Hotek Keycutter multiple keys in one command
Mews now send and API call to Hotek Key cutter for only one key at a time, if you want to create multiple keys at a time it send it separately and not in one command. We check with Hotek and they confirmed to us that Mews send multiple keys creating in different commands and not in one command. This cause a lot of irritation with people at the reception, because it's not clear when the first key is created and when they need to put the second key on the card reader. Allowing duplicate keys is not and option…

Extend the timefilter to have a UPDATED timefilter, so that you can retrieve all accounting items that have been created/modified within a certain timeframe.
This way you can easily fetch for example "give me all items that were changed since yesterday".
Advantage: If you would like to know if there were new accounting items modified/created since the last time you checked, you do not need to get all items for the entire future. That would save a lot of bandwidth and processing (on both server/client side)9 votes -
search field for marketplace intergrations
By now, you have so many great marketplace integrations and they are getting more and more :) so it is getting hard to find a specific one. It would be great to have a search bar/field so you can type in the name (i.e. "vouchercart") and it is easier to find the desired integration very fast instead of clicking through all the different topics to find the desired one...

MEWS X Key Cutter integration - send command for check out
Salto can receive a check out command from PMS. Currently, MEWS does not send these commands via the key cutter integration to Salto (early check out fe.).
Would be a great benefit (and improvement in terms of security) since currently we cannot create a new key via our integrating party for Kiosk.

guest preferences/prefered space features
We should be able to retrieve and use the guest preferred space features with the customer profile using the API. This would allow the guest to update these information from external integrations and this data could be used to offer customized services according to these preferences, like available spaces to offer in case the guest want to change its assigned space

Connector API: pull stay product packages (product rules)
Be able to pull information about product rules that are set up in the system.
This will give an overview of the products that are getting attached to the certain rate, segment, rate group, space category or space type in Mews

Assaabloy provides now door locks solution with possibility to the guest to press a button to set status do not disturb or make my room.
Does the DND/make my room status communication between Commander and Assa Abloy could be developped ?

Visionline - encode second room to be opened by the card in field 4 of key creation command
In the current Visonline integration with Mews, Mews only sends one room number/lock id to be encoded in Visionline. This presents an operational challenge for properties that have the following room structure:
6228 - main suite (parent space)
230 - private room for 2 persons (child space)
228 - dorm room with 4 beds (child space with 4 additional child spaces nested)
228-1,2,3,4 - four separate dorm beds230 and 228 can be sold separately, as is any of the four beds. A party of 6 can also book the entire suite 6228.

Return Employee GUID in response
For actions taken in Mews that appear on the Action Log, allow the employee GUID of who made the change (such as rates) to be shown in the response.

Create/Edit Vouchers and Voucher Codes via API
Adding functionatlity to create/edit vouchers and their codes would be useful for a number of use cases.
Firstly in my opinion the Mews process for creating this is a little clunky, especially if you want to track the usage of each VC as it needs to be it's own Voucher, there's no way to track the codes within that voucher.
Therefore lets say you have a staff friends & family rate, and you want the voucher code to be the employee name so you can track usage and abuse of the incentive.

Connector API: Close bills
Within Mews, staff are able to close bills. This is currently not possible via the Connector API for integrators.
With this extensions to our Connector API, it will be possible for integrators to support this functionality.

add accounts/getAll endpoint with possibility to filter by AccountId
The new reservations/getAll endpoint & the new bills/getAll endpoint both use a new AccountId(s) field. This field can contain a customer or a company.
In the case of the reservation AccountIds field, we would possibly need to do two requests per AccountId to fetch the required information.
It would be a lot easier if there was an accounts/getAll endpoint where we could fetch the information with just a single request.

reservation number for block reservation
Currently, block reservations are not transferred to other systems. Systems such as Fairmas or RMS cannot see the blocks until a list of names is entered and the actual reservation number for each single reservation is generated by MEWS. This distorts P/U and open pricing. The problem could be solved by also giving a block a reservation number.
