  1. We are able to create new accounting items (creating an order, adding a product to a reservation) but we cannot "Cancel" those items afterwards.

    We have an integration that creates items and we keep a reference to them, but we don't have the ability to cancel them when our own data requires it, so we get de-synced.

    Would it be possible to have this operation available through Connector API? It is something that can already be done in Mews Commander with the click of a button.

  6. It should be possible to map products to the channel, which are charged once per person and once per stay. Otherwise we are not able to sell our packages online, which include like one massage per guest during the stay.

  7. Add "Voucher Redemption" as payment type for the payments/addExternal request. This allows external voucher tools (e.g. Incert) to specify the payment type when adding a voucher to a customer's bill as payment.

  8. Currently in MEWS you can set a diffusive overbooking strategy, meaning when overbooking in lower room type availability is taken out of higher room types. This to avoid overbooking on house level.

    However this is not forwarded to the channel manager. Meaning that even when MEWS is not bookable anymore, online on the OTA's we still are.

    It would be great if this feature would be pushed (automatically) to the channel manager as well (when MEWS strategy diffusive is chosen).

  9. In the information that Mews sends, the booking reference of the BtoB client should be added.

    Indeed, when transmitting an invoice to the BtoB client in order to post the invoice, the BtoB client needs its booking reference. Without this information there is no way for them to post the invoice. This is an obligation for most of the BtoB clients such as HotelBeds, Bookings, Webbeds...

    Nowadays the booking reference information is only included into the API when the invoice is linked to a reservation.

    Nevertheless, Mews allows to create bills to correct invoices. In those cases, no booking reference…

  10. Currently when you receive a websocket message to say, for example, there's a new reservation, the message doesn't say which Enterprise it is from. If you try and create websocket connections to multiple Enterprises, you can end up with them all coming in on the same channel and there's no way to know which one is which. Without this, it is not possible to query the API with the correct access token to get further information about the reservation.

  12. This connection would allow for properties to use TripAdvisor as a distribution channel by allowing clients to book directly on TripAdvisor without having to go through the property page and the connection will send all the relevant customer and billing information directly into Mews when the transaction is complete.

  16. As it stands, the key cutter automatically defaults to whatever check-out time in that property is.

    When a guest adds a late check-out to their reservation, or when we enter it as a product, Mews should change the time to whatever the late check-out in that property is. Then we can still use key cutter without having to manually change the check-out time. This will significantly decrease human error in the case that reception doesn't notice that late check-out was added.

  20. Dormakaba's product Oracode which generates pin code doesn't integrate with Mews. It does connect to Hotello, though, so prospects/clients are looking for this.
