  4. Channel: mapping once products

    It should be possible to map products to the channel, which are charged once per person and once per stay. Otherwise we are not able to sell our packages online, which include like one massage per guest during the stay.

    Add "Voucher Redemption" as payment type for the payments/addExternal request. This allows external voucher tools (e.g. Incert) to specify the payment type when adding a voucher to a customer's bill as payment.

  7. Add the Booking reference of the B2B client on the API for invoices no related to reservations (ie: invoices corrections related to others w

    In the information that Mews sends, the booking reference of the BtoB client should be added.

    Indeed, when transmitting an invoice to the BtoB client in order to post the invoice, the BtoB client needs its booking reference. Without this information there is no way for them to post the invoice. This is an obligation for most of the BtoB clients such as HotelBeds, Bookings, Webbeds...

    Nowadays the booking reference information is only included into the API when the invoice is linked to a reservation.

    Nevertheless, Mews allows to create bills to correct invoices. In those cases, no booking reference…

  8. Websocket message to include Enterprise Id

    Currently when you receive a websocket message to say, for example, there's a new reservation, the message doesn't say which Enterprise it is from. If you try and create websocket connections to multiple Enterprises, you can end up with them all coming in on the same channel and there's no way to know which one is which. Without this, it is not possible to query the API with the correct access token to get further information about the reservation.

  9. Channel: Tripadvisor Instant Booking API

    This connection would allow for properties to use TripAdvisor as a distribution channel by allowing clients to book directly on TripAdvisor without having to go through the property page and the connection will send all the relevant customer and billing information directly into Mews when the transaction is complete.

  12. Diffusive overbooking strategy also pushed to channel manager

    Currently in MEWS you can set a diffusive overbooking strategy, meaning when overbooking in lower room type availability is taken out of higher room types. This to avoid overbooking on house level.

    However this is not forwarded to the channel manager. Meaning that even when MEWS is not bookable anymore, online on the OTA's we still are.

    It would be great if this feature would be pushed (automatically) to the channel manager as well (when MEWS strategy diffusive is chosen).

  13. Connector API: Travel Agency Contract - Add and Update

    Currently there is no endpoint for an integration to add a travel agency (only Add/Update Company).

  14. Channel Manager API - include the date of birth & occupation of customer

    Include the following information related to the customer for the Channel Manager API :

  17. Keys ≠ Check-out time

    Keys (using keycutter) are automatically made based on check-out and check-in times. It would be useful to make a key that works until 10h15 if the check-out is for example at 10am. Now, if guests forgot something or want to pick up luggage they left in the room at 10h01 front office needs to make a new key.

  18. Export target -> Printer

    A great feature would be the ability to set a Printer (set up through mews connector) as an export target.

    For example, to automatically print the breakfast list each morning at 06:00 on the printer in the breakfast room.

    The format of the report would have to be the same as if you print it manually through the product report.

  19. Zapier: "Add action to close same-day bookings"

    Hi there, Mews Team!

    Laurie here, reaching out from Zapier Support. One or more of our mutual customers has requested a new feature in your app.

    Specifically, they'd like to see an action that would let them close bookings at a specified time every day.

    An example use case for this would be to ensure same-day bookings aren't made after a certain time of day.

    I don't see this available in the API at this time:

  20. Channel: Add additional space classifications

    Apartment groups and vacation rentals have a wide range of space classifications. If you would like Mews to add more space classifications to the Channel Manager API, upvote this suggestion If you have a specific preference, leave a comment.
