  1. The printable registration form is not user friendly. Guest wich use my own designed registration form are much faster. im sure its easy to make it more user friendly.

  2. Although the name of the guest appears in the reservation details, it would be great to be able to add the name of the guest (as a placeholder) in the text and subject of the email for the "Booker Confirmation".
    For example:
    "Dear Isabel (booker),
    Thank you very much for your booking for Edward Wilson. Etc."

  3. Possibility to store an image behind each step in the booking engine. Otherwise, it currently looks very dreary and half-furnished.

  4. we would like to offer our breakfast online for campers. Due to the different VAT rates, 2 items must currently be posted (share of drinks, share of food). This is of course too cumbersome for the guest.

    Is there a way that I can create a product when the guest books (e.g. breakfast camping 15,-) and Mews automatically splits this booked service into two products?

  5. Have the T&Cs at the beginning of the booking engine journey. They are currently on the last page - which means customers must go through all the steps before knowing what they are signing up for.

  6. If mews could sell USB camera modules that could be placed next to kiosks/computers for easier Document "Scanning".
    If all documents are the same brightness, distance from the lens it could speed up the scanning procedure.

  7. Have a generic QR code to promote online check-in and enable guests to complete online check-in with their name and reservation number.

    Guests do not always keep the emails sent, so the code could be displayed in the hotel lobby, if guests are standing in the check-in queue this could be a prompt to complete the online check-in and save them time.

  8. We would like to have the guest title appear on the registration card.
    Since we show our guests the data on the registration card upon check-in, some guests have shown complaints that there is no title they have input upon reservation.

  9. TA contracts are connected to bookable services i.e. they are not shared like companies are. Some properties want to import TA contracts from one bookable service to another, they might work with the same partners in different areas (resort/apartments). Maybe it would be beneficial to allow properties to download and then import this information (maybe CSV format) from one bookable service to another?

  10. We should be able to create a booking engine for companies, where booking is only possible if you have a voucher code. This prevent guests withour a company agreement to book without giving credit card information.

  11. This may be a bug; however, mews applies the returning guest classifaction also in case a guest cancels his booking and then makes a new one. The returning guest classification should only be applied in case of a consumed (checked-in and out) reservation.

  12. Could we add a descriptive text to the landing page, so we can clarify any current promotions or restrictions? Ie. “Accepting reservations for Summer 2024 now” - anything that would help prevent guests from selecting date selections that are in a blackout or have particular restrictions (ie. we do not allow Saturday check-in, so selecting any dates that begin on Sat returns no availability).

  15. This way front of house operations weill not affect rates shown in the IBE
    Many hotels have a lower rate in FOH to make currency exchanges, but this affects the rate shown on the IBE

  16. When a booker makes a reservation for someone else, they can never get access to a portal where they can change the reservation, or the language for each confirmation. Or get an overview of all their reservations.

  17. Add the functionality for guests to be able to use the Mews terminal to purchase any products from Mews by themselves without any intervention from our staff, at any time (from a list pre selected by us, as not all products should be purchasable by guests). Currently, the functionality is partially there but the guests can only add products to their reservations when doing the checkout, which is really annoying.

    Currently, each purchases made with the Mews Kiosk require manual intervention from our staff. We want guests to be 100% autonomous in their journey. They want something but our staff…
