  1. Why is it not possibile to add a new company to a mother company while creating it? Actually we have to create a new company and afterwards open the company profile again to add a mother company. We need to add the mother company for the statistcs.

  2. On the billing page there should be a note field where we could note if its e.g. a booking prepaid / expedia collect booking or if the guest pays everything on site.

  3. If a guest comes often and always make the same reservation, give them the option to copy existing reservations. It makes sense to make this from the guest portal, because all of the informations are already there. They just need to switch the dates.

  5. Have the T&Cs at the beginning of the booking engine journey. They are currently on the last page - which means customers must go through all the steps before knowing what they are signing up for.

  6. To have the possibility to set a minimum required information for new reservations booked trough the booking engine: that every room booking requires name, phone number and email address of one of the staying guest.

  8. Would be very nice if there is a group checking in online, that they can fill in a phone number and emailadres for every room.
    So when working with a digital key, every guest/room receives the correct key.
    Also would be perfect to split bills.

  10. Add cash option or temporary skip option to check-in with the kiosk.
    We are trying to work Paperless, and the kiosk gives us this option. However, when someone pays cash we have to stop the entire check in process because we cannot proceed without card payment for the check-in.

  11. Heya - the current set-up in Mews allows for commission rates to be set to travel agencies.

    For GDS rates, this can be tricky, as you have to create each agency, and not all GDS rates are commissionable.

    I would like to suggest the possibility of indicating on a rate if it is commissionable or not, and what the commission rate is for the rate.

    I know it will become complicated if you have a commissionable rate, booked by a T/A which has a commission set up to it. But maybe it should be the rate that determines the commission…

  12. Groups quotations links are working a miracle. However, there is potentially simple and significant space for improvement.

    When guest follows the link, in Mews BE nothing presellected and guest have to go over and over and add the room types and pax. Even if they will select correct number of pax, but locate just 1 to different room type as per what the quotation was prepared for, it won't go through and you won't know why. If, however all will be preselected, guest would only have to go through the extras and payment pages.

  13. We only want to offer some room types to familes, which you can do on internal bookings but not on the engine, Can we have a systemt that only shows the childrens rooms when a guest adds a child in on the first page please

  14. It would be great if you can set a limit on bookable items. For instance a max amount of 3 for late check-outs or early check-ins. That way you can upsell without putting too much pressure on the housekeeping team.

  17. Since Mews is doing such great work with bookable services. It would be great to be able to use a {bookable service} placeholder in the email templates.

  18. When a reservation is created via the booking engine with an invalid payment the guest does not receive any email to tell them a reservation is on hold. The guest does receive however a cancellation email when the cancellation 'booking abandoned'. This is causing many confusions and complaints as guests did not know to begin with that a reservation is being held, they should not receive an email when this cancels .

  20. When using online Check out, clients do not necessary come to reception.

    The Housekeeping and Front office teams struggle to know where the clients are.

    Sometimes they check out and stay in the room (C/O is done but they just stay in the room till the very end) or they leave but no one knows when which makes the operations team lose precious time for HK to clean the room.
