  4. Currently, we have four Houses, each with its own set of individual mailings. This results in 104 different emails in our native language alone. When translating these into two additional languages, we end up managing 208 separate email templates. Every time we make a change to one email, we must manually update all corresponding translations.

    It would be highly beneficial to have an automated translation system for all text elements within the emails. The same applies to products, where automated translations would also be a great improvement.

  5. If I upgrade guest free of charge in advance, the guests are able to see it in the kiosk. We would like to keep that as a suprise upon their arrival. Furthermore, it does not show them as a upgrade. If we gave them a free upgrade they are not able to see their original booking in the kiosk. (Original Room Catergory) which may confuse them.

  6. As it is now it is only possible to send new messages to internal users. We would like it to be possible with guests as well.
    Meaning that we will be able to send messages to guests without them having done the online checkin or messaged us first.

  7. When making a reservation as a booker, there should be an option to determine whether the guest receives an email confirmation or not. This flexibility is particularly important for personal assistants (PAs) and corporate bookers who manage travel arrangements on behalf of others.

    In many cases, PAs prefer to handle all communication with the guest directly, ensuring consistency in information and maintaining control over the booking details. Automatically sending a confirmation from the property can sometimes cause confusion, especially if the guest was not involved in the booking process or if additional arrangements need to be communicated separately.

  8. We are requesting Hungarian translations for Guest-Facing instances as well as an option for users to set on the back end when configuring products and rates at the property.

  9. Some third parties send reservation details in all capital letters. When merging profiles for these reservations, it would be nice to have an option to convert text to 'proper language', i.e. convert JOHN SMITH to John Smith. Staff are currently manually adjusting the text in these profiles.

  10. Upon a completed booking, it would be helpful if MEWS creates a datalayer with the personal data from the booking (name, email, phone number, and country) that can subsequently be sent to Google and Meta as part of 'Enhanced Conversion' to better optimize advertising.

  11. It is both good and bad that emails are not sent out from the demo environment. For example, it can be difficult to access your guest portal or check-in to test something if you haven't received a real email from the system.
    Additionally, it is also a problem to test email templates if you choose to build them yourself because the code (HTML/CSS) generated by MEWS is not 100% consistent with the code you insert.

    Therefore, it would be helpful if you could either enable email sending in the demo environment, so you can test the flow 100%, or if…

  12. When people are entering from e.g. Google Hotel Ads the landing page is always the distributor link (technically it is not possible to link the ads to the widget integrated booking engine)

    Problem then is that users can not go to the homepage of the hotel directly.

    It is a learned & normal website usability that logos are clickable and lead to the homepage if a website.

    For me it is a must have.

  13. Create a multiproperty booking engine where guests can find availability and prices for multiple properties in the same city / region / country by querying on stay dates. Currently a specific property needs to be selected, resulting in a tedious process (with 7 properties in 1 city for example) resulting in low conversion and churn.

  14. the employees at the front office who process early check-ins and therefore check the room status often start the check-in process because the room status is inspected, yet only because the room is not yet checked out. Only at check-out room status moves to dirty.

    Unfortunately, the pop-up on the tablet (Kiosk in staff mode) that the room is not ready for occupancy only comes after the guest has entered their data and signed.

    Would be great if there would be a sign if the room is still occupied, in the check-in screen or if the room moves to dirty…

  16. Allow guests to create optional reservations in the Mews Booking Engine instead of directly confirming. This should trigger the quotation email allowing the guest to review the details of their stay, pay a deposit and confirm the reservation (applicable to long stay guests)

  17. Net Properties would like to see the breakdown of total cost in Confirmation and Quotation Emails between Net + Tax, and then Gross Value.

  18. At our property we have limited parking spots available to our guest. At this moment the option to book a parking spot is hidden in the list of products in the engine when parking is fully booked. However, it would be great if the bookings engine could show it as sold out/fully booked. This would help us receiving fewer questions and not having to disappoint guest when we let them know they cannot park after they made their room reservation.

  19. Be able to split payments of a reservation by amount. in the bill.

    For example:

    A room cost 1500 SEK. one guest want to pay 500 SEK and one guest want to pay 1000 SEK

    Atm, this option is not available.

  20. If a company has more than one employee working from the same emaill address Mews will not allow us to create them as a guest/booker as the email address already exists. Can you create an option to override this?
