Conditional Display of Add-On Products Based on Rate Inclusions
Enhance the booking engine to intelligently display add-on products based on the inclusions of the selected rate. Specifically, prevent the display of the breakfast add-on when the chosen rate already includes breakfast.
Background:
Currently, our booking engine is configured to offer both rates including anf excluding breakfast, allowing guests to add breakfast as an optional extra if it is not included. This approach works well for rates not including breakfast. However, when a rate that includes breakfast is the only option presented, the system still displays breakfast as an add-on. This redundancy not only confuses guests but also undermines the value of rates that are inclusive of breakfast, as it suggests breakfast might not be included when, in fact, it is.
Example:
If a guest selects a date such as NYE when the only rate avaialble includes breakfast, the booking engine still prompts the guest to add breakfast to their booking. This scenario leads to confusion and may impact the guest's booking experience negatively, as they might question whether breakfast is truly included in their rate.
Requested Feature:
Implement a feature within the Mews booking engine that:
Automatically detects when a selected rate includes specific add-ons (e.g., breakfast).
Conditionally hides these add-ons from the booking options to prevent redundancy and eliminate guest confusion.

To go further, the choice of add-on products should be made AFTER the room category and the rate is selected. The booking engine should display the add-on products not only according to the rate selected, but also according to the room category (what's the point of proposing an option "twin beds" for the room categories where you CANNOT make a twin-bed - or an extra bed in rooms where it CANNOT fit?!) and why not according to the number of people in the room (e.g. propose the crib only if there's a baby or DO NOT propose the love box to single travellers...). Thanks

If the guest selects a rate with breakfast included, they will still be offered the "breakfast" as a product. It would be better to limit the products according to the rate or the number of guests

The Mews Kiosk doesn't recognize, if a guest has some products already booked and tries to upsell these again.
For example a guest has booked a room including breakfast or has added breakfast in the online check in, the guest still is asked again to add breakfast at the checkin.
This is ridiculous, the guest thinks we are scaming them and they are confused. Sometimes breakfast is sold multile times to the guest because of this.
This should be a quick fix from you. -

Especially for voucher rates or multiple booking engines: the "Offer To Customer" feature should be customizable per booking engine.

Still of great importance to multiple properties :)

When a breakfast product (regardless of price) is attached to a reservation it should not be promoted again to the customer.
Current Mews logic: “a product will not be promoted to a guest if it is attached to the booking” - suggested change “products within the same product category will not be promoted to a guest if any product within that category is attached to the booking”.

I agree that this is an important feature and should be implemented asap to avoid issues with double booked products

For Guest portal as well.

Very critical. We would like to be able to offer breakfast for rates which are excluding breakfast, however not to offer this product for packages in which the breakfast is already included.

This is a very important tool.
For example, we have several 'special weekend menu's'.
It would be great that we could deactivate our 'normal' menu when the special weekends are running.
Or for example - brunch weekend, and no normal breakfast bookable during that weekend... -

This is extremely important for Slumber Party hostels currently onboarding with us.

Booking engine: ability to hide or customise products for certain rates booked, e.g. if package/promotional rate includes free breakfast, full price breakfast product should no longer be available to choose (user journey)
