A notification (physical receipt or digital notification) once order item is ready for pick up (from kitchen/bar) for service staff. Especially helpful in environments that have "runners" who only serve but do not take orders.

Associate new products with courses
When creating a new product, the user should be able to associate it with a course. For example, Soup would fall under Starter.
If the waiter wishes to amend this during service, they can do so. However, if no selection is made, the item will automatically default to the course assigned when the product was created.

POS to PMS Mapping
Allow owner of POS Merchant to configure the mapping between POS and PMS. Having to create support requests to change mapping every time you add new accounting categories, spot any mis-mapping or want to make some internal changes is not productive.

Exchange from credit card to cash
Possibility to exchange credit card to cash. If customer would like to get coins it would be nice to be able to charge credit card and then exchange it to cash.

POS - Automating Revenue Center allocation based on time of day or shift
In certain hotels, predefined shift schedules are in place. During these shifts, the revenue recorded in the Mews POS system is expected to be allocated to a specific Revenue Center. Currently, staff members are required to manually assign each order to the appropriate Revenue Center. It would be highly beneficial to have a feature that automatically assigns the Revenue Center according to the time of day. For instance, all revenue generated between 06:00 and 11:00 hours could be automatically directed to the ‘Breakfast’ Revenue Center.

Bewirtungsbeleg per Mail versenden / German hospitality voucher via emal
In order to confirm to the tax office that a meal was a business meal, in Germany so-called "Bewirtungsbelege" must be issued by the restaurant and completed by the guest. These are currently only available in printed form. To go further in the direction of paperless, it would be great if these could also be sent by email.

Add Delivery Capabilities to Mews POS
Add the possibility to choose a delivery slot on Digital Ordering, so that non-immediate deliveries can also be managed by Mews POS.

Multiple "split bill"
When splitting the bill from table layout it would be helpful to have multiple splittings at the same time. You could split a bottle of wine between 2-5 persons at once.

Digital orders should not need to be accepted
Digital orders should not need to be accepted in the POS and should instead print directly to the assigned printer. We work in a light staffed operation and constantly monitoring a tablet for orders is not efficient. I print out that is clearly visible is much easier for our operation

Why not having a common shortcut grid for all device types (smartphone, pad)?
Currently you need to define separate shortcut grids for Smartphone devices and Pad devices. This means double work when adding new products, and risk of inconsistencies between both device types.

Tablet Auto Log Off
I will waiters keep forgetting to log off can you put a 15 second timer on the tablets which logs them off automatically?
This will ensure the right is getting the credit for the order.

Being able to modify the number of "meals" on a non-detailed ticket
This idea is specifically for the FSC market and a must have. It is asked in every POS demo.
First, we would need a non-detailed ticket that simply states "1 meal", without any detail and without showing any tax differences.
Then, customers in France very often ask to sum up the total of the ticket into "2 or + meals" (they just choose the nbre of meals they want on the ticket - which is very generic and does not show the detail of what has been ordered.
Right now, there is no way to determine on 1 same ticket…5 votes -
