Allow a bookable service to have it's own name in the booking engine, and it's own address details
When managing different bookable services, like we are. It would be helpful if you can show the name of the bookable service on the booking engine. As it can get confusing for guests to see the hotel's name on top when booking the apartments they manage under a different name across the street.
Or, like us, when you manage multiple small properties in a single Mews environment, each with it's own name and address.

Product count
The product report does not show all products sold in one view. For example breakfast. We have to open 2-3 reports to show the total amount of breakfast sold. We need one overview of all products sold, not many overviews.

Filter by user name the product journal report
In order for the colleagues to check their postings (charges, rebates, payments), could it be possible to add a filter in the posting journal report to short it by user log/name? Therefore, each employee could print his activity report, check one by one the lines and postings corresponding to his codes, and correct mistakes if observed.

Specific Room Assignment in the Group Blocks
Enable assigning specific rooms to the group block. Properties should be able to block specific room numbers for the group so that the groups are staying close to each other.

Rate Discrepancy Report
It would be great to get a rate discrepancy report. Being able to see the price a reservation was booked and the price the reservation ended up paying.

Restrict the status of rooms that are checked in to maximum cleaned status
If rooms are checked in, the status of the room can still be set to inspected.
We think it would be useful that the room status in that case can only be set to clean and not inspected.
Otherwise, the room will be available for self-check-in at the Mews Kiosk.
Only in the last step - the key encoding - the guest is informed that Self-CI cannot be completed successfully.

Late check outs possibility when using a space in space set up
While using a space in space set up, but NOT using different reservations in that space, it is now not possible to process a late check out for only one space. This is inconvenient, since in practice it happens that only one space needs a late check out and not the whole room/all spaces.
Our example: We have 2-room apartments that are a combination of 2 separate rooms, combined with a connecting door. The 2-room apartments can be booked separately, or as a 2-room apartment by for example a family. In the case of the family, the 2-room apartment is…

Group Block Agreement
To expand on the new Group Blocks feature, I would love a simple Group Block Agreement form/report that summarizes the number of rooms blocked, the dates associated with the rooms and the nightly (pre-tax) rooms rate.
It would have a customizable "terms" section where we can note cancelation policies, block release date etc and have a signature page for the client to sign.
Right now we have to generate this outside of Mews, which creates additional work. Happy to send you a sample of what we are looking for!

Availability report at a glance
Dear Mews,
Would it be possible creating an availability report, similar that you can download in excel on the dashboard, where we can see a room type with remaining number of rooms in a row under each other, top row the dates and button row the overall number of availability and occupancy? Like below example?

Cancellation Policy for stay Products
At the moment cancellation Policy for products on a rate group is determined by that products way it is consumed, so say for instance I want to charge the guest for only the first night room tax and breakfast, the breakfast still gets charged for every day of the stay if it is defined to be consumed nightly. this leads to much manual work for frontdesk to be able to charge the cancellation fee correctly.
A way for the products to be charged a cancellation fee "individually" according to that specific rate group seems the way to adjust this.15 votesHello from the Mews product team. enable adding products to different booking engines
When adding a product, it is automatically added to all booking engines. However, we offer different products in different booking engines (for example for certain events or retreats). Please enable to add or delete products to certain booking engines or to restrict products from other booking engines or rates.

Dispay round figures
During the rate setting we use round figures ( 99€ for one night) but when we use a discount of 10% for example, the rate for the room will show up on the website like this : 89.1€. This is not efficient.

Minimalize a reservation
Option to minimalize a reservation (for example keep it in the right bottom of the timeline). It could allow you to continue with other tasks and than later on get back to the reservation/booking that you were working on. It could also be a reminder for yourself that you need to follow up on that certain reservation.
