  1. After a phising attack, or an unallowed log in into the system, it would be helpful when MEWS sends immediately a note to the affected user and parallel to a defined admin user and a general mailaccount. We made the experience that after a phising attack there was lost a lot of time.

  2. Can we please create a feature to block room charges for so no one can add any unnecessary charges to rooms

    Right now, we are only commenting on bookings that should be on a no post basis, but of course there is human error at one point or another and it is sometimes easy to miss the comment especially when there are multiple information on the booking, and we end up not getting paid for these services sometimes

  3. Our establishment has to deal with numerous overbookings and, following discussions with your support team, we were told that Mews does not have any features designed to prevent this situation. Overbookings are a nightmare for responsible hoteliers, who have to find alternative accommodation at their own expense if no solution can be found internally, and they have a negative impact on the satisfaction of the guests affected.   4. A filter on allocated spaces to housekeeping, that filter out already assigned spaces. With the one we have now, you can assign the same room to more employeed by a mistake.

  5. It would be much more efficient if we could add a new payment method directly while creating a reservation—without needing to first create a profile or open a separate tab. Many of us finalize reservations without a payment method initially, so having this option in the same workflow would really streamline the process.

  8. When you put in a rate in Availability block the product rule that you have made should for the rate should follow. If I make a Availability block today and put in a rate the product rule for that rate doesn´t follow and I need to make a new product rule for every new block I do.

  9. Zurzeit sind nur Reservationsnotizen im Mews-App ersichtlich. Dabei fehlen aber die Notizen vom Gast (z.B. wünscht zwei Kissen). Ist es möglich, dass die Gästenotizen mit der Rubrik "Housekeeping" auch auf der Mews-App hinterlegt sind? Somit muss die Rezeption die Notizen nicht jedesmal kopieren.

  11. We’d like the flexibility to define different cancellation policies per room category, without creating separate rates.
    Example:
    - Standard Room: free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival
    - Suite with Sea View: free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival

    Both should be part of the same rate, shown consistently across booking channels and internal systems.
    Maybe as a rule?

  12. Is it possible to add a consumption date in the invoice preview for the products and services?
    To see the consumption details we need to "print” the invoice to see the overview.
    It would be more optimal to have it visible on the invoice preview.

  13. hi,
    some of our cooperating companies have different billing addresses under the same name. At the moment the billing address is taken from primary address (which is the last added address). Can you enable: a) changing the primary address within company profile or b)choosing company address during the billing process?

  15. Hi, we need to filter by last name, but the export only contains first and last name in one cell, so we can only filter by first name.

  16. When you post a product to a bill you have the possibility to add a "note" that is shown on the product on the invoice. However, once posted, you can not add a note afterwards or edit the note. Then you have to remove the product and add it again to write a new note! It would be better if you could jut edit or add a note after the product is posted on the bill.

  17. Is it possible to consider not making this field mandatory to set the number of days, especially if the property wishes for their integration to default all space status changes, and Mews not to be the one changing the space to Dirty automatically.

    If it must be mandatory, it would be useful if properties using "Housekeeping Integrations" could select their integration in a drop-down menu from that field to indicate that Mews will not automatically change the status of the space. The clients can revert back to Mews and Set the number of days as needed.

  18. It would be extremely helpful to be able to write comments on reservation directly from the reservation overview report instead of having to click details->administer->properties and THEN be able to write a comment. After all of that, you cannot even just click back, because then you will come to the home screen and not the reservation overview report again. It would save us alot of time, especially us who write comments on almost every single reservation when we go through them for the day to check for extra needs, memberships etc :)

  20. It should be possible to set the order of the rates yourself in the reservation form. At the moment it is apparently incomprehensibly coincidental.

    The ordering works in the settings but not in the reservation form.
    It is very annoying when you have to open the dropdown menu every time because the most booked rate is not displayed first.
