  1. the employees at the front office who process early check-ins and therefore check the room status often start the check-in process because the room status is inspected, yet only because the room is not yet checked out. Only at check-out room status moves to dirty.

    Unfortunately, the pop-up on the tablet (Kiosk in staff mode) that the room is not ready for occupancy only comes after the guest has entered their data and signed.

    Would be great if there would be a sign if the room is still occupied, in the check-in screen or if the room moves to dirty…

  2. If the client has MMMP active, they would like to be able to look up a reservation number and find then the property, as sometimes people call not knowing which hotel they are staying but giving you only the reservation number.

  3. Bluserena needs caparra to be available in order to use it as pre payment for stays and VAT on caparra should come across as 0 as the VAT is calculated in the whole stay at the end so the deposit would be wrong as it calculates the VAT as 10%

  5. We often change how a promotional rate is priced, sometimes off BAR, then we might change it to equal AAA, or some other rate from our RMS. Currently if I want to change the base rate being used, I have to delete the entire rate plan and rebuild a new one.

  6. Allow the full user edit screen for admins when editing another user like when your editing your own profile / account.

    We add the users to mews and would include 2FA and profile picture so new users have a fully set up account. Right now these options are not available for admins (we have a specific hardware for 2FA and dont want employees to use their private mobile phones for 2FA for security reasons).

    Also it would be great to have an option to specify what users can change by itself similar to the enforce 2FA. Good behaviour would be…

  9. This functionality is to create a tax exempt on the bill after the items was charged. This functionality is used often in first nation hotel. They have access to tax exempt number that they can show to the Hotel. Those exemption is apply on very specific circonstance, per example the hotel is located in a first nation territory. This option is interesting reducing the number of products create to be able to support the tax exempt.

  10. Rooms that are inhouse should have their own status. Now we have Dirty for rooms that are inhouse and Dirty. It would be easier to filter if the inhouse rooms have status occupied.

  11. When we upload a Group rooming list, at the moment even if all rooms are single rooms the uploaded names will land in the system as Companion. In this way we cannot see the names of the guests staying in the rooms when we look at the timeline for example. It will show the names that the group was picked up under and since we don't always have the rooming list by the time we actually pickup the rooms we use for instance the group name and all rooms will show the Group name as such.   13. Hello,

    When we have a paymaster account and the customer has several bills linked to his account, we change the name of the bill, but they are not placed in alphabetical order, is it possible to do this? and/or have the option to drag and drop the order of them?

    When we choose sort by month, it only changes the order in each bill, it would have been nice to have an alternative where we can sort everything on one customer by month, even if it is in different bills. Just need it for a better overview.

  14. We need the OPTION to pre-allocate rooms in an availability block. By the time we receive some rooming lists and pick-up the beds, other guests have already extended in a room and then ruined exclusivity in a section/floor; or if you sell beds in a hostel, the extensions have led to the availability block guests being split up over multiple different rooms.

  15. As our property mostly sell packaged products we are missing the possibility to package a product with multiple items which then ..
    - could be sold as an enhancement to stay
    - be billed directly by frontoffice without having team remember all components

    In addition it would be desireble to set a product for sale specific period or days only.

    Example: Would love to sell a Christmas Lunch composed by Food & beverage items for stay 25 December without having to create a separate Stay package.

  16. According to STR guidelines, no-show revenue should be included in room revenue when other cancellation revenue not.

    Cancellation fee has different VAT in the Netherlands than no-show (no show is 9% when cancellation fee is 0%).

    9% is hard coded in mews and therefore impossible to separate (using automatic posting)

  19. Currently the system has two logic when you want to apply an exception to a restriction: merge with existing exceptions or replace all exceptions but sometimes it is behaving the same way.

    For example: I want a rate to be available if people stay 3 nights or 7 nights (not 4, 5 o 6 as this will create availability gaps), the system does not allow you, when you try to put the second exception it replaces the first one. The solution I have been given its to create 2 different rates, but I cannot create a new rate every time…

  20. Mews shows our weeks start on a Monday whenever the timeline is called up. For our purposes, it would be great if this could be changed so that the timeline starts on Sunday. Could you please add this option to the timeline? Many thanks!
