  1. Where one has rates setup and sold inclusive of the the package e.g. Breakfast, @ R1500.00 single or double inclusive of breakfast. In MEWS rate setup it is required to set a negative occupant adjustment for the value of the breakfast in order to correctly quote the rate for the single room booking @ R1500.00

    Where you have derived rates, one normally sets the rate up against the base rate with its relative % adjustment. e.g. -10%, however as the base rate has the negative occupant adjustment for the breakfast to too is discounted on the single rate published. Therefore…

  2. When you have made an adjustment to a rate you have to go through the whole year to see that adjustment.

    I.e. I have a base rate on 800 SEK. I have an adjustment that apply every sat - sun. That lower the price to 650 SEK. It's easy to do and hard to manage.

    What if I'm not happy with the lenght of it or want to do adjustments to that adjustment. There is no overlook on what adjustments are applied. The only thing I can do is change the date and the start scrolling. How far did someone…

  4. if you want to extent a made booking, the price will automaticaly change. Also if you have fixed rates for a customer group, it changes to the daily rate, which is extremely wrong and not helpful.

  5. It is a great feature that we can set dynamic pricing but on the product overview screen there is no indication that a price has been overridden, making this impossible to track and monitor.

  6. Pourvoir définir qu'un check-in ne peut pas avoir lieu avant un certain délai suite à un check-out.
    Ce délai peut-être pour certaines catégories de logement ou juste pour certains jours de la semaine.

    Par exemple:
    nous n'avons pas d'équipe de ménage un we, donc interdire les réservations avec une arrivée le dimanche si un départ est prévu le samedi.
    Et inversement, une arrivée est prévue un dimanche, la chambre ne pourra pas se vendre si le check-out de la nouvelle réservation est la veille.

  7. It would be useful to be able to lock the rate of a reservation when making price agreements for a one-time booking, just like you are able to lock the booking to a specific roomnumber. Now, when you or a colleague makes any changes to the reservation, you have the risk of changing the rate.

  8. We currently have the problem, that we sell apartments (parent space) which consist of a living room and 2 bedrooms (child spaces).

    The two bedrooms/child spaces (Studio and Standard category) can be booked individually. This phenomenon should only come into play, when all other rooms of the same category are fully booked.

    Due to the automatic assignment, we sometimes have bookings in the child spaces which results in the apartment not being available and our staff have to change assignments themselves. Currently we have no option to exclude child spaces from the automatic assignment.

  9. when creating a rate (or amending it), it would be handy if you had the opportunity to see what voucher(s) the rate is linked to and more importantly that you are able to amend it there and then.
    now you need to remember the long name (we have a lot of the same names "corporate rate") and hoping you pick the correct one! not very efficient use of our time.

  10. When a reservation is made or changed and the system does not assign a room to it and it is going to drop in to the red line - there should be a warning that pops up to let us know this is happening so that it can be rectified straight away.

  11. de optie om een Company Voucher in het boekingscherm in te vullen is door MEWS weggehaald. Nu kan er alleen nog Public Voucher genoteerd worden. Wij gebruiken veel Company Vouchers dus deze graag terugplaatsen

  12. It would be nice if the detailed invoice/bill also has a total amount per Package. especially when you have several bookings on 1 invoice.

    Several travel agency's require this for their accounting. now we need to do this all manually.

  15. Currently, if a reservation is for multiple rooms, the cancellation policy remains the same as that of the rate group for which they were booked. It would be better, and easier to mitigate the risk of losing of a multi-room reservation, if there was an option of another cancellation policy being available once a minimum number of rooms have been reserved. This would allow us to change the cancellation period, meaning that they have to provide us with more notice of cancellation.

  17. Right now it is neccessary to select a employee to a Supervisor once at a time, but when there is a new supervisor, for example a duty- or hotelmanager, it is better to select all employees you want to move and move them all in one go. It takes a lot of time to move all housekeeping/FO/F&B to a new supervisor and it would be way easier to have control when you are able to select more employees all at once.

  18. On the dashboard of a guest, we cannot see in one eyesight the previous room number, we have to click on details, or open every past bill.
    It will be usefull to have this information on the screen where all past bookings are displayed, especially if it's a returning guest with a lot of previous stays

  19. At the moment, if you set up a rate automation for OTA rates, the same trigger will be used for both virtual and physical credit cards. Ideally, there would be extra conditional fields in an "if this, then that" format. For example:

    If Card type = Physical, then charge on confirmation
    If card type = virtual, then charge on start day

    This conditionality format would also allow for less rate groups, and increased flexibility if other conditions are also created. It could be implemented with an advanced settings button to keep the current layout as simple as possible.

  20. We would like to charge a deposit that reflects the amount of a booking. It could be a percentage, or a fixed amount per type accommodation. Now it is only possible to set it up per rate group, and it is a fixed amount. So a higher depoist with a booking/accommodation that is more expensive and a lower deposit with booking a Studio.
