  1. Would it be possible with the messaging function to have all the messages automatically attached to clients profile?

    Example: A receptionist is chatting with an arriving customer, but finishes his shift before this client arrives, another receptionist may not know/ check the read messages. It would be easier for the staff to have all guest messages attached to their profile.

  2. The no show email the property gets, stating all the reservations that were cancelled with the reason "no show", includes the reservation numbers and the customers' names. It would be perfect, to also have on that the room numbers shown where there were allocated.

  3. Will be a good thing to have the possibility to download all daily invoices to one PDF to store them in digital format, to avoid using paper and saving time to do that one by one.

  4. When viewing over 2 weeks of occupancy and you scroll right, the name of the categories disappear. Keep it frozen so you never loose sight of what category you are looking at.

  6. Since Mews is a cloud solution and therefore accessible from anywhere, it is important that users are careful to log out once they are no longer using the platform. To help increase security measures, a feature could be implemented to automatically log out Mewsers who have been inactive for a certain period of time. After this predetermined interval, users would then have to reenter their user details to access Mews again.

  7. we would really need and appreciate the possibility to be able to choose a date for an external payment. Right now, the date when you put it in mews is chosen, but we offen have bank transfers during the weekend that can only be put in mews on monday. It is very important for our accounting though to have the day of receiving the money in mews, not the day of recording in mews.

Email sent to be logged in the action log in order to give a quick overview of the guest email communication, in addition a link to the mail queue link so the employee could easily access the email. If non admin users could have access to mail queue as a separate work privilege it would enhance the user experience for this suggestion

  14. MEWS calculates prices with and without VAT per product and presents them per product on the invoice.

    At the end of the invoice MEWS presents the summary of the prices with and without VAT per VAT.

    On huge invoices the calculated and presented total price without VAT is not the same as the summary of the presented prices without VAT per product due rounding differences.

    Guests/companies/ accounting are complaining about this.

    THEREFORE PLEASE ADJUST and do not present the price per product without VAT per product. (only VAT in %, amount and price with VAT)

  15. When making optional bookings, this means we are holding a room/rooms but the booking is not confirmed.
    If this bookings is never confirmed, we should have an status called released instead of cancelled, as you are not really cancelling the booking, you are releasing the booking.

  17. When orders are placed in Mews, there are often notifications sent for confirmation. However, when orders are canceled, it is more difficult to keep track of this lost revenue. Therefore, when orders are canceled, introduction of a notification e-mail could help properties stay more informed as detail of each cancellation would be available for future statistics and analysis.

  18. It would be great to be able to choose consumption date and time when setting product rules - For example If the product should be added on arrival date or in the night.

    When you have a package that includes dinner at the arrival date it's not optimal to have the consumption date, by defualt set as the day after if the product is added through a product rule.

    As it is now this affects the product reports in a negative way.

  19. In our regular Guest's profil, we have sometimes 10 times the same credit card because our guests book online.
    Mews should be able to merge credit card in guest's profils if the card is already register. Or at least, we should be able to remove the duplicates.
