Assign a Product to a Room Category
It would be very handy to be able to assign a certain product to a room category.
For example, we have a room category that is dog-friendly and we charge a one off fee. I want the guests to have the option to select the product when making a booking but also restrict them from booking it in another room category.39 votesHi, thank you very much for the idea!

Let us use the escape key to exit windows in Mews.

Check In form more user friendly
The printable registration form is not user friendly. Guest wich use my own designed registration form are much faster. im sure its easy to make it more user friendly.

Upload photos for each department and apartment or room
Create a section by departments (Housekeeping, maintenance, Customer service ...) in which, you can upload photos by apartments or rooms to know incidents and the whole team can see it.

Message visibility
Customer Messages should be attached directly to the customer profile, so that all hotel staff can easily access/read/react to the conversation.
In that way, only unread messages would appear in the general customer message board and that would clear the clutter.

Automatic reminder and cancellation e-mails should be to booker, not guest.
Now, the automatic reminder and cancellation e-mails are send to the guest and not the booker. Even if the guest has no e-mail, the booker (or anybody else) does not receive an automatic reminder and cancellation. As we have a agreement with the booker and not with the guest, it should be the booker who must receive the automatic reminder and cancellations. Now, bookings are being canceled automatically (when not reconfirmed before the deadline), without notifying the booker, who did originally receive the confirmation. This is a major flaw of MEWS. The booker should receive automatic reminders and cancellations!

Mews Native Channel Manager
Add Channel Manager to a product portfolio to reduce cost of using a 3rd party channel manager.

However this is very time consuming in both development as well as maintenance. It is currently unlikely we'll be able to fully cover channel management like the channel managers today can.

task ring/bell signal
It would be great that we could set a ring/bell signal for some urgent tasks, like for: Late check out, wake-up call, any other urgent task. So you hear that something urgent needs to be done, also when you do not look at the desktop screen.

Highlight or post a result of in-house guest on top of search bar
When searching for a guest in the search bar, it would be nice if the guest with that name that is already in house would appear on top, instead of scrolling through the list to find the guest that is in front of you.
