Customer Messages should be attached directly to the customer profile, so that all hotel staff can easily access/read/react to the conversation.
In that way, only unread messages would appear in the general customer message board and that would clear the clutter.
There could even be a message icon on every reservation badge, so that the staff can access customer-hotel conversations directly.
