  1. It would be grate with a tablet that is on the reception counter, where the registration card comes up for the to sign or input data. That way we would save a lot of time and paper

    We are very happy to inform you that we have expanded the paperless experience for you and your guests. Not only can you allow your guests to sign their registration cards from the Mews Operator (Kiosk) at check-in, you can also provide your guests with the option to sign their registration cards before arriving at your property using the Mews Navigator application.

  2. Would be helpful to have a feature for the group summary, that shows how many adults + childen are in the group. Now it shows only total amount of people.

  3. Give to each user the chance to change the reservation overview. Just give us more options, like in windows ( large icons, small icons, list and details).

  7. At the moment in most cases we have to split reservations to perform a room change.
    It would be good to make a room move without any issues. One or two clicks the most would be good.

  8. We don't have 24 hour reception so it would be helpful if, when reception closes, we can put a restriction / stopsell on the remaining rooms so no one can book them after hours

    We are currently adding a Restriction with the start date and end date being the same to get around this issue
    Blocking multiple rooms is also time consuming and alters management reports

    As great as Mews is, I've used 6 other PMS and this is the first one to not have a feature similar to this

  9. Changing the colour from light grey to dark grey when a guest checks in is ok. but being able to assign colours to reservations to be able to see clearly groups, certain OTA bookings etc

  10. Some stay products are only used by management or certain reservation agents.
    Now all other agents and staff have to go through a long list of products to find the product that they need for the booking. Therefore it would be much easier if you could offer certain products only to management or certain employees.

  11. It makes sense to be able to see not only imminent (Pending) or past-date (Missed) tasks but also upcoming (Future) tasks on the main page ("Tasks" doughnut) - without having to go into the report every single time.

    The current state of affairs makes it often necessary to remind staffers of upcoming tasks outside of that section (or outside of MEWS e.g. emails, sticky-notes et al.), which does not make for a stellar user experience.

  12. It would be easy to select multiple reservation when checking-in or changing room number. For instance, if you have multiple rooms in a basic category and you want to give them all an upgrade (however separate reservations), it would be nice to have an easy way to select them all and drag to a different category. Moreover, When checking in rooms who are not merged together, however do arrive together, it would be easy if you could all check them in at once.

  14. When making a reservation through the NRS, I would like to select the credit card or enter the details of the guest's credit card when making the reservation. Right now, I need to make the reservation and then add it separately

  15. We have some ‘Long stays’ but there is no where we can see the actual number of days they’re staying (without looking at the arrival and departure date and making the maths). It would help if there could be a way of having a number (it could be right next to the reservation dates and inside parentheses) indicating the total room nights of that reservation

  16. Would be great if you could create a Queue Booking system.
    In order to easely identify guest that have made the admin paperwork however their room wasn't ready.
    Help HSK to prioritize the cleaning . Help the Front office team to identify customer when thei are returning.

  17. This one is for the developers.

    We have group of between 200 and 300 reservations spread out over 10 days in september. When you load one of the reservations the other 200+ are also loaded.

    This makes every action (checkin, checkout, open bill, close bill yadayada) you need to take is very very slow.

    I suspect the list is loaded synchronously. Maybe it helps if the reservation is loaded asynchronously. I only care about this 1 reservation not about the 200+ others...

    This reservation for example is part of a large group.

  19. Right now, it is only possible to check rate totals when creating a new reservation. Even then, the total price is shown based only on the currently selected rate for stay and products added. A rate query tool would be a great option to help clarify and check prices, availability, and restrictions that may apply to different rates, with or without certain products. This additional functionality could also help revenue, sales, and marketing departments to save time and streamline their efforts.
