Include online check-out TIME to the check-out report
Include the estimated departure TIME to the check-out report.
During the online check-out guests can choose the estimated departure time. Could we include this respond to the check-out report overview as a new column for example after the online check-out column?

Available rooms on opening screen
When you log into the PMS, it shows an occupancy chart and underneath how many arrivals, departures, etc there are for the next few days. However, it would also be good to show HOW MANY AVAILABLE ROOMS there are on each day for the next few days. And I mean rooms and NOT occupancy. So, if someone asks if we are fully booked or if there is availability in general, one can very quickly see that there are still rooms available before digging in further to see which rooms and room types are still free. Drag and drop ordering of product lists
It would be great to be able to reorder product lists (and other lists) in Services by drag and drop.
Now, if you need to reorder a list of products, you have to go into each product and give it a number from 0+

being able to change the service of a product
sometimes you may wish to move a product from one additional service category to another (for example if you add a new service category due to expending the products offered).
at the moment this is not possible and you have to create a new one and delete the old one. not very time efficient and also messing up your reports as you could already have products booked.

Splitting reservations should not increase pick up
When splitting a booking, it creates a new booking, and pick ups in any RMS. Please don't consider a booking as a new received booking, as it false pick up and data.

list of booker names doesn't display when making a reservation (window is hidden)
think there is an issue with the system as normally you are able to see the drop down window. now it seems to be hidden behind the availability window underneath. please look into this urgently as it creates more work with having to add this after the booking has been made.
PS - even on the next screen where there is no other window underneath are you able to see the bookers names!
PS2 - NOWHERE are you able to see the bookers names, not even in the reservation itself - madness!!!2 votesHi Simone,

We are currently looking into this issue, and would like to know a few more details, would you be able to ket us know if you are currently using Mews on Mobile or desktop as well as the browser you are using?
It is currently possible to view booker names on the reservation module, the booker name appears on the right hand side of the reservation module under the "Status" section.

Availability Blocks pick up pattern
When I enter a block pattern (example: 4-7-5-5-3) the system makes me pick the rooms up as if I have 4 rooms staying for one night, then 7 rooms staying for one night, then 5 rooms staying for 2 nights etc. instead of staggered arrivals with different lengths of stay like blocks typically are. Can that be changed?

Thank you for your suggestion. Availability blocks in Mews allow for availability to be adjusted per space category per day as you have described above. When availability is adjusted, a set number of spaces are removed from public availability per day.
It is possible to support staggered arrival dates within an availability block, however the arrival dates are limited within the contractual constraints agreed upon i.e the number of spaces made available per day.
Based on your example above, it appears that you are referring to run of house reservations. Is that the case?

Extra / empty bed relative adjustment
It would be great if we can set a relative adjustment for a period and not set for the complete system. Meaning rates of 2022 and 2023 are different, meaning a different relative adjustment. However, I now have to adjust it manually in the booking as this feature is not there.

Tagging Staff on Note Creation
We currently have the ability to assign a task to a user. However, in Notes, we can only leave plain text messages. We would like the ability to tag users using @function in Notes if this is possible. Also, would like to see who left a note by User and the note alway appears as General and not the specific user to created the Note.

In a big chain with a lot of companies, it is a must to be able to lookup on the company identifier. A lot of companies have the same name but other identifiers.

Add segmentation to availability blocks
In regards to the segmentation of the block, it would be amazing to be able to set the segment per block as we normally segment each of our reservation on a much more granular level.
As you can imagine, setting the segment directly in each reservation’s module can be quite time consuming. Being able to add the segment on block level would solve that.

Turn off notification sounds

We would like to be able to turn off the sound when a notification comes in.
when we are talking to guests, it is very annoying when we hear a 'ping' in our ear all the time.

checking in a guest manually needs fixed!
Currently to check in a guest, You have to navigate too many screens between payment, guest info, and check in. Instead when you click check in, MEWS should automatically prompt the guest info then payment instead of having to navigate multiple tabs.

edit daily rate and change room number for options
Currently daily rate is not amendable once the bookings are created, with a status OPTION (not confirmed). We used to have it but not anymore.
Also, we can never change room allocation if the booking is an option.2 votes -
Add 'comment' condition to product rules
It would be useful to add more conditions to product rules; e.g., comments -- this would allow to create product rules based on matching words in the reservation comments.

Room Status in Details Pane
When selecting a room on the timeline and seeing the Details pane on the right side of the screen. Mews displays whether the guest has "checked-in online" or if they are "to be checked-in", however doesn't show the status of the room ie. CLE, DIR or INS.
Would be beneficial to see if the room is clean or not to enable a faster and more pleasant check-in experience for the guest.
A simple icon (similar to the one on the "Room Status" section) would be incredibly helpful.2 votesHello from the Mews product team.
We are so pleased to let you know that your feature request has been released. You can now see the status of the room in the reservation "smart detail". Accessible by selecting the reservations "details" button. Or by selecting a reservation from the Timeline.

To move current stay-overs to a different room
How is is not possible to move guests to another room, without making a new reservation or splitting a reservation. Too much work in to a simple action. Too much work where is no extra time for these trying times with too little employees.

We currently offer several ways to move reservations including dragging and dropping reservations to another room from the timeline, as well as the ability to move reservations to another space from the status tab of the reservation screen or to a different space category from the properties tab on the reservations screen.
