Hello all,
This status update is part of our ongoing work to simplify and streamline how our UserVoice feedback forum operates. We are reducing the number of statuses to two (Idea to Upvote + Released) to help manage expectations about where each idea stands and to minimize the number of status updates required from our product teams. Our product team reviews everything you share, and we might reach out for more info if we need it.
Thanks for your patience as we work to bring your ideas to life! You can learn more about the changes coming to UserVoice from this post in the Mews Community.

This really should be a feature by now, the solution of cancelling and rebooking does not work especially if the reservation was erroneously added to a group. When you run a group report it shows the booking which causes confusion for the group organizer. It also means you have to risk confusing a guest by changing their booking number when all you should need to have to do is remove/add a code to separate it from a group block.

When a voucher is created to give access to a specific rate code we should have the ability to hide room types that are not applicable, when the guest uses the promotional code on our website. i.e. if the voucher is only valid for Suite rooms we should have the ability to "hide" the Standard rooms from being visible.
As it stands we have organizers complaining that when a guest uses the voucher they can see all the room types at the hotel which causes confusion for their guests and leads to them booking the wrong room types, thinking they are getting the promotional rate when in fact they are just booking a standard rate at the hotel.
