Selection of multiple room categories within the availability & occupancy report
It would be helpful to select multiple room categories within the availability & occupancy report.
At the moment it is only possible to select all or one room category. If you like to check on the availability of only a few space categories you have to search the whole list.33 votes -
Cancellation date filter for posting journal
We really enjoy the ability to cancel products from billing and cancel orders from the guest dashboard, but there currently doesn't exist a way to audit cancelled products/items by cancellation date. We are able to filter by creation date of the product, but that makes it hard to track items created several months ago that may have been cancelled in the last week, for example.

In reservation overview report show abreviated notes if notes field content is to long, instead of not showing anything at all
In the Reservation overview report some reservations are displayed with no notes at all, where in fact there are notes attached to the reservation. This seems to happen for notes where the text content of the notes filed is very long. Thus it would be helpfull to show only the first lines of the notes with an indicator to view the full notes by opening the reservation details. Like "Some very long note text here. ...... See more by opening Details"

Add filter for note classifications
Add an option to filter which type of notes are shown in reports. An use case would be the "Room Status" report with only housekeeping notes (For the housekeeping obviously).
For example for the "Guests in House" report you have an option to toggle products and then a separate option for refining wich products are shown.
Similar there is already an option to toggle notes (guest notes to be specific). Just add an additional option for choosing wich note classifications should be shown.

Have a filter in the Manager report for rates
Hoteliers like to track the success of the rates per month and currently, to do that is to run the reservation report with a specific rate selected and to run it in "Total" mode month by month.
Manager report has a lot of potential for improvement to make it more useful for the hoteliers.

Report Exports: Allow the "Name" to Duplicate in the File Name
It would be useful to allow clients to duplicate the "Name" identified in the field "Name*" within the export scheduler page (right side, under the "enabled" box) in the file name that is generated to indicate where the file came from and the interval it was generated for.

Export Schedule on available for the a "Rolling 7 Days"
Add to the current list of Interval option of a Continuous 7 days that begins the report at "Current Day 00:00 to +7 days at 00:00"
This would allow a daily export of product services sold to show any 7 days out at all times and would also include any late changes that happen for last minute bookings with a cancellation period, add-ons over the phone, and so forth. THE ACCOUNTING REPORT SORT BY ROOM TYPE
It will be great if we can have an accounting report sort by room type, in order to compare the revenues separatly. Otherwise maybe habve the opportunatly to export to excel the accounting report with the room number or room type.

Dear Team,
This function work super for a Breakfast List as an overview.
May I recommend:
1) We are able to print this report for our Kitchen Team as well for our Breakfast Team. They unfortunately do not use MEWS.
2) Would there be an option to add the Guests "Customer Notes" there we add under the F&B Notes, if the Guest if allergic to anything for example.Thank you in advanced.

Secure Emergency Exports
It is recommended to setup daily or even hourly exports of important reports to prepare for possible desasters. Only Enterprise Subscribers may choose and FTP Export Target. All others are limited to email exports. However, this way massive amounts of sensitive customer data is transmitted over possibly insecure connections (unencrypted email / SMTP). That could be a GDPR violation!
I suggest making secure/encrypted sFTP Exports available for everyone and/or implement a way to guarantee secure email transmission (at least SMTPs with certifcate pinning).

Improvement to reservation report - add tick boxes to filters
When generating the reservation report using the parameters in the drop-down lists, why can't we tick several items (like it's possible for the segments), but for all ? e.g. room categories or rates or nationalities or countries etc ?

Availability & Occupancy Report + Restrictions
We use the restrictions a lot at our property. We need a way to see restrictions in relation to the availability and occupancy. I'd like to see restrictions added to the calendar view of the avail and occ reports.

Enable Report Column User Customization
Beyond the availability of filters, or as incremental filter functionality, users should be enabled to remove data columns from report when the data in the column is irrelevant to the property or the user. My hotel doesn't track data by bed but this information takes up space in a report for columns with zeros. When I deselect filter options, the column still shows in the report with zeros. Like standard Excel spreadsheets, it should be possible to drop/drag columns within the report and remove columns so print attempts don't generate unusable reports. Reservation Report should allow you to choose more than one rate plan
You can only select one rate plan but have the feature to select multiple segments, etc. Why not have the same feature for rate plans?

Sustainable integrations and native imports
Being able to integrate/import more details into mews.
When looking to the future our demand for accurate and immediate reporting becomes ever bigger. having MEWS as the central HUB for everything would be nice. Alternatively having more integrations with 3rd party players that can take relevant info from mews, ESG reporting criterias will be more and more crucial in the coming years2 votes
