  1. Accounting report: When I generate the accounting report view in detail and export it on excel, We want to be able to see the space in the excel associate the the transaction. The hotel want to be able to have the rate per date for accounting system.

  2. Currently the revenue of a Mother Company in Mews Analytics is only shown as a Company on its own. Let's say a Mother Company has 1 Daughter Company. Both companies show revenue in Analytics separately, but the Mother Company does not show the revenue of both companies - which is a need for Mother Companies.

  3. I am writing to request a change in the way the accounting report date filter works. Right now, the filter shows invoice statuses based on the invoice closure date. We need it to show invoice statuses based on the selected consumption date instead.

    For example, if we want to check if all invoices for August are closed, the report currently shows invoices with consumption dates in August as open if they were closed in September. We would prefer the report to show the invoice status as closed if it has been closed in the system, regardless of when it was…

  4. It would be nice to pull data by "Space Type" from the reservation report. The Totals mode is an incredible tool -- but just as the Mgr Report has Stay revenue separated between Rooms or Apartments or Suites (or the different room types), it might be incredibly useful to have this filter as well.

  7. It would be good to have an easier way of seeing the Average Monthly rate per Rate Category. Now, in occupancy report you can only see an average rate of all rates that property has.
    We would like to see Average rate of rooms sold per selected Rate category.

  8. We've explored various reports in Mews with different settings to see if it's possible to extract the tax code in addition to the tax rate. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a way to do this.

    Having access to tax codes in reports is essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance, especially when tax codes change within Mews. It allows us to track which revenue has been taxed with which tax code, providing better control and transparency for accounting and auditing purposes.

  9. We need a way to notate guest allergies in their profiles and pull reports. At minimum, we need a way to be able to pull a PRINTABLE report that includes reservation notes, where we are currently noting allergies for our kitchen and housekeeping staff. This is vital to operations for our property and for our kitchen specifically. Our chef currently has no way to efficiently and effectively pull guest food allergies directly from Mews when he is writing the breakfast menu. We are forced to use a separate system which, naturally, causes food allergies to occasionally fall through the cracks…

  10. It would be great if we could receive a no-show report, either as an xml attachment in an email, or a pdf report through email.

    Currently the only way to check no-shows is on the day itself and there's no way to really gather statistics from this unless you keep track yourself.

  11. I think it would be very helpful to have the option to set customizable (per house, per user) templates for reports.

    In general I appreciate the flexibility in creating a report such as the reservation report.
    But if there is a report that is needed regularly, it can be a bit exhausting to everytime set all filters.
    To set up the scheduled exports is a solution only in case there is a fixed schedule. If we could have the option to select a template that would adjust the filters a certain way, this would be more than helpful and time…

  12. Please add the option to choose multiple Services within reports (e.g. Reservation Report), the dashboard and the timeline.

    If we add a service for nightly billing and one for monthly billing, both should be equally add up as arrivals and being reflected on an arrival report.

    For the dashboard, maybe we can have at least the possibility to select services that should be shown together on one dashboard. (Arrivals, departures, tasks)

    For the timeline, it is not very helpful that reservations for other services are visible but it is shown with the name of the service instead of the guests…

  13. It is essential for us to track which rooms are performing well in terms of mini/maxi bar sales, as our hotel offers different collections in the mini/maxi bars across various rooms. Therefore, we need a report detailing mini/maxi bar consumption by room number.

  14. Right now, there are so many details in the exported payment report in the excel file, but the mandatory refund reason is not there. It would be very helpful for us if it shows it in there as well when going through all the refunds.

  15. When using shared inventory in a hostel setting the occupancy graph is rendered almost unusable. When having a dorm sellable as a Dorm or a single bed, if arrivals was 1 for a bed on the day in the reservations section, the graph directly below will indicate 2 arrivals if the dorm was not occupied previously. There is only truly 1 arrival.

    Appreciating additional logic would need to be applied across the system, though this would make it far more actionable insights and give team members actionable information.

The "city" focused filter will allow Sales and Revenue Departments to have the option to pull for more specific/localized stats of their visitors as opposed to a whole region/territory/filter which could affect product creation sales and marketing campaign (Without needing to export to Excel + filter the customer profiles report)

  17. Require solution for Reservation Report based on accurate and exact interval of staying/overnight during the selected period only, for example from 01-01-2024 to 31-01-2024 without including the overnight stay on previous month even the whole booking may overlap.

  19. We have a mandatory field for canelationreason when we cancel a product, but there is no report for checking this proccesses.
    We need a report sorted by products with reason, guest name, booking date and cancellation date etc.
    As it is now, checking is extremely time-consuming because you have to search for everything individually.

  20. It would be very useful for us to be able to see the trends for when people arrive for breakfast on different weekdays/times of year, to see when and where we should most efficiently use our staff.

    Therefore it would be nice if it was possible to filter the product report in such a way that you can view which products are "checked" at which times on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

    Similar to (or the same as) how we check when most people check in and out in the Activity Report.
