  2. We are working with Wihp to display our rates on Google. Actually Mews is not able to provide the cancellation deadline for each rates, other OTAs are able to provide rates per room category and with cancelation deadline. We need to be able as well to show to our customers our cancelation policy per rate category.

  3. In the call reservations/getall, 'Cancellation Reason' is not included in the response. This would provide integration partners with more granular data of why a reservation was cancelled and improve 3rd party reporting and revenue management. Available information for cancellation reasons from the system would include:
    - COVID-19
    - Other
    - Confirmation missed
    - Booked elsewhere
    - Force majeure
    - Guest complaint
    - No show
    - Price is too high
    - Service not available
    - Input error
    - Invalid payment
    - Travel agency
    - Requested by guest

  4. For the connector API it is necessary to retrieve all rooms each time an API Call is made to pull the space feature, this is quite a heavy call for TSH as some hotels have 700 rooms.

    Could Mews consider to introduce a filter by room name ideally?

    This way Ireckonu or another integrating partner does not need to pull all rooms each time.

  5. I guess this is a bug in the API.
    The call never returns any CompanionIds within a reservation. The companions have been added both, by API Call and via the MEWS frontend

  8. Now you always need to enter a period when you are looking for a bill (bills/getall). And the period cannot exceed 3 months. If we do not know when an invoice was issued, we just have the number, it is not easy to find.

  9. In Belgium we have OGM numbering, partners could handle this via the api if there would be an UpdateBill request available in which only the notes can be updated of an open bill.

  11. All the traffic in Google Analytics gets attributed to "Direct".
    Develop the possibility to attribute revenue to different channels such as "Paid" and "Organic" or others.

Adding an option for guests to make a donation (multiples of $2) to a selected charity (Red Cross or Regional Fire Association etc) at the booking Summary or Check out stage of their booking; similar to airlines and PayPal booking portals. Funds to be paid direct to the Charity bank account with your company reference for reporting.

    With all of the global crisis' people are trying to find ways to help and allowing our high traffic websites to be used as channels to be able to help would be a great tool. It would also allow for companies to promote…

  13. Get All Accounting Items: doesn't have a Service ID filter like Get All Reservations does. Once Spacetime launches: as we are filtering Reservations to show only the Accommodation/Stay bookings, we also want to only receive the Accommodation/Stay accounting items. As a single Accounting Category ID can be shared amongst multiple services, if we can't filter by Service Id we may end up including postings in Accommodation reporting that shouldn't be included.

  15. As it stands, the key cutter automatically defaults to whatever check-out time in that property is.

    When a guest adds a late check-out to their reservation, or when we enter it as a product, Mews should change the time to whatever the late check-out in that property is. Then we can still use key cutter without having to manually change the check-out time. This will significantly decrease human error in the case that reception doesn't notice that late check-out was added.

  16. Hi Mews team,

    We are using Mews Distributor for our Pay on Arrival dates with activated 1% Pre-authorization on credit/debit cards.

    However, the Distributor states that customer will "pay" the 1%.
    For example, if the whole booking costs £350.00, the customer will be pre-authorized for £3.50.
    Mews Distributor currently states that the customer will "pay £3.50".

    This is incorrect, as full payment, not a remainder, will be taken on arrival.

    Can we please have the wording changed from "pay" to "pre-authorized" or similar.

  17. By doing more actions Mews to Mews on Zapier we would be able to have an infinite possibility of automations in various fields such as :
    - payments : charge 50% remaining of a flexible rate, 30 days before arrival
    -preauthorisations : on day of arrival, charge automatically the preauthorisations. If failed send email to team and guest...
    - out of order : if maintenance issue task, turn property to OOO
    -...
    If doable the possibilities would be endless and allow advance users through automation to personalize/automate their PMS

  19. (EN) When the customer returns their card, I place the card on the SSalto Reader. Click the card to check-out button. The card is read and the corresponding room is displayed at check-out.

    (DE) Wenn der Kunde seine karte zurückgibt, lege ich die Karte auf den SSalto Reder. Klicke den Button Karte zum Check-Out.
    Die Karte wird gelesen und das entsprechende Zimmer wird zu Check-Out angezeigt.

  20. Connect to RemoteLock - with contactless being the standard, many US hotels are moving to pin/door code locks and would be great to seamlessly integrate code generation, and include in welcome email.
