Option: To "Send/Not send" email for payment requests when created through API
Payment requests can be used for custom booking engine to integrate Mews Payments and offer on session payments. The payment request can be created through the API, the ID returned can then be used to embed the webpage into the custom booking engine. It's not great for the guest journey that when the payment request is created, an email is send to the customer as the payment request webpage is also offered on session. An optional parameter for the email send would be solve this problem.

Is it possible for me or mews to create more external payment methods though? We'd like external names to match with the actual payment met
It would be great for mews to allow properties to create more external payment methods that we can name what they are e.g. we take a number of different vouchers and we'd like to be able to create external payments that match the name of the voucher names. This would reduce errors with staff.

BankAxept for Norway
BankAxept is the Norwegian local card payment scheme and is the most widely accepted card for point of sale payments.
The majority of BankAxept cards are co-branded. From these co-branded cards, almost all cards are co-branded with Visa and some with Mastercard.

Allow Bills (Folios) or Invoices to be sent to clients with embedded Payment Request link
Would it be possible when previewing/sending Bills (Folios) or Invoices that we can also be availed with the option to automatically embed a Mews Payment request link so our guests can securely pay their bills off?
At the moment properties need to send a copy of the bill first via Mews Operations and then head back to the payment tab to send the payment request link. In addition to that, the Payment Request email isn't as customizable as they desire.

Request sent to Guest for Card Details
Many guests book by telephone, therefore don't receive the email requesting their card details - or they ignore it, as do others who book online.
Please can we have a link to request card details to be added, as there is for preauthorisation and payment requests?5 votes -
scheduled payments
the scheduled payment overview on the payment tab is great, but it would be fantastic if we could amend the timing of those scheduled payments.
for example when you know that hotelbeds pays 30 days after departure, you can amend the payment scheduled for the day of arrival.2 votes -
Proving Guest has accepted T&Cs tickbox
Whilst its 'controlled' in the booking flow that a guest cannot complete the reservation without ticking the acceptance box for T&Cs, when it comes to defending a chargeback it supports a stronger counter-challenge if we have the ability to send a screenshot of the reservation summary with the datapoint captured that the T&Cs were accepted and timestamped.

Hey, it should be possible to pay with Amazon Pay during the guest journey. Lots of customers are using Amazon Pay and it would be beneficial to customers & hotels.

Automatic settlement externally paid
It would be Wonderfull if we could set a automatic settlement rule to close a bill for travel agencies who have already payed.
For example, all bookings from booking.com are paid trough booking.com, and we would like to set a automatic settlement for 100% but not actually charge anything, just add a external payment (wire transfer) for the full amount and close the bill.

Payments VS Reservation report
Would be great to have a report (or the information added to Reservations Report) that ilustratrates all the information in reservation report plus payments made in that reservation and amount invoiced. would be nice to exist a invoice report with this information.

Make invoice header on the invoice easily customisable / rewritable
Often guests don't tell us that they need a different address on the bill. After a while they tell us over the phone or by email and then it's an absolute pain that we can't overwrite the invoice header.

UBL Format added beside the PDF invoice by email
We receive a lot of requests to send an UBL format invoice next to the PDF invoice we can already send.
Preferred to have the option to add an UBL format invoice or to have it automatically added.
A lot of companies demand these type of invoicing to make sure no errors are made in the payments or accounting department.

Multiple payment methods online check-in (iDEAL)
At the moment the only payment method when checking in online is with a credit card. It would be very useful for us in the Netherlands if guests could check-in online with iDEAL and fulfill the payment in advance.

Integrated real time calculator when paying cash
To avoid switching apps, it would be helpful when one is charging a guest in cash, MEWS shows the amount of cash input and how much change they'll need.
This'll comes handy specially during rush hours or high-season when every second counts.4 votes -
Multiple guests in Reservation Pay Online
Currently only the owner of a reservation receives the online check-out email and is the only one that can pay the balance of the reservation before being able to check out. When there are multiple guests that have bills that need to be settled, if they cannot pay their bills online themselves, the group in that room won't be able to check-out online. My suggestion is that all guests in a reservation be able to receive a check-out email and pay for their Bill.
