  1. For regular guests that are coming every week the Check Out Mail After Stay is very annoying. We just want to send it to indivudual guests. It would be perfect to have an option in the guest profil to set up which Mails the guest should receive from our system.

  2. On the American market the opt in works opposite than in Europe. The guest needs to opt out in case they do not want to receive marketing. Therefore we would like to have the option in the guest profile: send marketing emails set per default for all profiles created in the US properties. The guest then needs to unsubscribe or Opt out if they dont want to receive marketing emails.

  3. For example: We work with a mobile app (Zaplox) with deeplink to the mobile app, but we cannot make us of the deeplink at this moment, because placeholder {ConfirmationNumber} is missing. Therefor guests have to do all manually.

  4. Possibility to show on the booking engine ONLY the rooms available to book once a date has been selected and not show the one already booked and not available anymore.
    From a sales point of view, we would rather show the rooms we sell and not the one we already have sold.
    If a visitor on our website wish to book a specific room type, which in this case is not available anymore, he will most likely book somewhere else. It does not add any value to our property to show the guest what is already fully booked.

  5. To be able to generate a report of duplicate profiles (All profile types) report. This will help in managing the merging process for individual profiles and at least flag the other duplicates that can not be merged ie company profiles.

  6. This is to ensure TA contracts are created when necessary and MAC identifier as well as all information within the profile are all correct / in line with the company standards.
    If a report can be generated then we can check all profiles that have been created by X employee are all correct. So far, there is no record/way to track when a new company/TA profile is created

  7. Show the guest that their promotional code had worked right when they put it in the booking engine

    The guest enters the promotion code, then the next page, they are choosing a category, but it doesn’t show the promotional rate until the following page.
    If the promotional rate didn’t work, the guest wouldn’t know. When the guest puts in the promotional code - there should be something that indicates, "this worked!"

  9. While the internal messaging is a great tool for Ops teams, to ensure completion of a task (or just share an information) it would be great to be be able to message a department (i.e front office/housekeeping) rather than just a specific employee.

  10. At the moment the e-mails that are sent from the system are one size fits all. However, the tone of voice and info in e-mails towards guest differs per segment. It would be nice to set up different templates per segment.

  11. differentiate the markup by competitor. EG: Booking =114%, HRS=110%, Weekendesk=120%,etc., because markup percentages are different per company.
    Now it is only possible to give One markup for all chosen Competitors.

  13. Update Timing Kiosk App: it would be very helpful to have a way of being able to determine the period in which the kiosk app receives its update? Since we have been using the app, it has repeatedly happened that the app receives an update just when guests have arrived and are waiting to be checked in. The update takes time which the guests do not have. So maybe it would be an idea to design it so that we as users of the app can decide when to download the current update - after we have received a message…

  15. Would be nice to be able to remind the guests to check-out online via mews mailing. This way, if the guest leaves, we can prompt them to click the link and settle their account instead of calling them to chase payment

  17. it would be great to differentiate between the origings of the customers/connector type conncerning the automatic system email. Because for some integrations, we do not want this email to be sent: ivvy, vouchercard, fidelo etc.

  19. I set up our parking slots as a bookable service.
    In the Mews booking engine, the guest sees a "bed symbol" at the availability.

    It would be nice to have a car/parking symbol there, not a bed. :)

  20. For travel purposes, especially because of a mandatory hotel quarantine, government agencies need to see the names of all the guests that will stay with us. The names should be added to the confirmation letter. You can create a new placeholder or add their names to the reservation details placeholder.
