  1. Properties are looking for more personalized experience. It's important to collect information such as allergies, personal preferences, arrival time, etc.

    It would be great if there was a flexibility to add additional fields in the booking engine (arrival, allergies, preferences, occasion for the stay) and give properties flexibility to collect this important data from their guests at the time of booking.

  2. It would be great to be able to select the license plate number from the guest profile as a possible feature for printing on the registration form.

  3. Please include in the action log, if an email has been sent to the guest via Mews ie. confirmation, quotation, cancellation etc.

    Now that we have to manually send confirmation emails, it would be greatly beneficial to be able to check if this has been done.

    Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We have recently released a feature that allows you to view the mail queue for the individual guests from the Guest profile in addition to the usual mail queue.


    You can access the mail queue on the guest level by selecting the guest dashboard and clicking on the mail queue icon on the top right hand side.


    Please note that mail queue is currently visible to admin level users. We recommend that you consult your manager in order to access this functionality.

  4. It would be easier if we could directly see via the reservation if emails of confirmation, facture sent, ... has been already sent and even if the delivery has failed.

  5. The Sign in image set under "Property" (seen in the guest portal) is also the image shown as background in the Booking Engine.
    We want the option to set different Pictures.

    Sign In image looks best in 640x800 while Booking engine background looks best in fullscreen (1080x1920).

  6. We are currently using Mews on Enterprise level. Thou multiproperty Mews gives us great analitics, unfortunately is a bit weaker on the day-to-day use. It would be great if we could create one promo voucher that would work for all the properties in the multiproperty booking engine. Currently this option is not available and vouchers need to be created separately for each property.

  7. We are expiring very unsatisfied guests who stays with us every week and is 'getting spammed with e-mails' both before and after each of their stay. We need to option to turn the automated e-mails off in the guest profile.

    These e-mails should still be sent to all new guests whereas returning guests seem to get VERY annoyed by receiving the same e-mails weekly in connection with their stays.

    Right now our only option is to completely remove their e-mail address from Mews which creates tons of issues with multiple guest profiles for the same guest, issues with sending confirmations…

  8. It would be nice if you can either,
    - Display "Only few rooms left" when inventory is low rather than the exact numbers all the time
    - Or display room availability by space types or categories. eg: we would like to only show availability for only the suite rooms

  9. Hello Mews Team

    As a hostel we rent out single beds in a dorm. In the booking engine those units shows as "maximum persons: 1", "available: 10". I understand the logic behind this, but many of our costumers seem to struggle with the "maximum persons: 1" bit when booking for multiple people.

    Ideally we would like to have the option which of our categories show the "maximum persons" tag.

  10. It would be helpful to have the companies in the "Guest in House" report.
    We have specific terms and conditions with companies, our staff would know directly if a person have specific conditions with the company on this report

  11. As we have many returning guests, we need to know which customer belongs to the same family. It would be great to merch Children to their parents and a wife to her husband and visa versa.

    Like this we get to know our guests better and the booking process for future stays will be even easier.

  12. On the American market the opt in works opposite than in Europe. The guest needs to opt out in case they do not want to receive marketing. Therefore we would like to have the option in the guest profile: send marketing emails set per default for all profiles created in the US properties. The guest then needs to unsubscribe or Opt out if they dont want to receive marketing emails.

  13. When sending a confirmation to a booker, the name of the guest does not appear on the confirmation letter but only the reservation number. This does not look professional at all and we receive many complaints by our guests. They feel like they are a number and not a guest.

  14. For regular guests that are coming every week the Check Out Mail After Stay is very annoying. We just want to send it to indivudual guests. It would be perfect to have an option in the guest profil to set up which Mails the guest should receive from our system.

  15. For example: We work with a mobile app (Zaplox) with deeplink to the mobile app, but we cannot make us of the deeplink at this moment, because placeholder {ConfirmationNumber} is missing. Therefor guests have to do all manually.

  17. This is to ensure TA contracts are created when necessary and MAC identifier as well as all information within the profile are all correct / in line with the company standards.
    If a report can be generated then we can check all profiles that have been created by X employee are all correct. So far, there is no record/way to track when a new company/TA profile is created

  18. Show the guest that their promotional code had worked right when they put it in the booking engine

    The guest enters the promotion code, then the next page, they are choosing a category, but it doesn’t show the promotional rate until the following page.
    If the promotional rate didn’t work, the guest wouldn’t know. When the guest puts in the promotional code - there should be something that indicates, "this worked!"

  19. Possibility to show on the booking engine ONLY the rooms available to book once a date has been selected and not show the one already booked and not available anymore.
    From a sales point of view, we would rather show the rooms we sell and not the one we already have sold.
    If a visitor on our website wish to book a specific room type, which in this case is not available anymore, he will most likely book somewhere else. It does not add any value to our property to show the guest what is already fully booked.

  20. To be able to generate a report of duplicate profiles (All profile types) report. This will help in managing the merging process for individual profiles and at least flag the other duplicates that can not be merged ie company profiles.
