  1. Booker should be able to confirm an optional reservation.
    If you send a quotation to booker the confirm button is not active. Just the guest can use the button bor companies it is important that a booker can confirm. We are still working with emails if a company books several rooms for employees. Would be great to solve this. Many thanks

  2. Currently the emails that are sent use the location name as the 'Sender' name. We would like to customize this, so that regardless of location, emails sent to our guests are using our company name (or something else).

  4. Groups quotations links are working a miracle. However, there is potentially simple and significant space for improvement.

    When guest follows the link, in Mews BE nothing presellected and guest have to go over and over and add the room types and pax. Even if they will select correct number of pax, but locate just 1 to different room type as per what the quotation was prepared for, it won't go through and you won't know why. If, however all will be preselected, guest would only have to go through the extras and payment pages.

  5. Instead of listing the total price for multiple nights, which often averages out to include messy cents, list each nightly rates for the length of their stay so the pricing is clean.

  6. When you write the description of a product, you can add spaces between lines of text. However when the description of the product is viewed in the online portal where the guest can purchase it, the spaces are removed and the text appears as a single block. HTML or markdown coding does not fix this. It would be good if the line spaces entered in the description were replicated in the guest portal.

  7. This may be a bug; however, mews applies the returning guest classifaction also in case a guest cancels his booking and then makes a new one. The returning guest classification should only be applied in case of a consumed (checked-in and out) reservation.

  8. Provide an option to hotels where, in order to create a reservation (even through Commander), an authorization code with an authorizable credit card should be required and part of the 3 step reservation creation process.

    And, only certain users (or an override password) should be allowed to select an alternate payment method such as cash / directbill, etc.

    However, one way or another, at least an indication of payment method should be part of and required in the 3 step reservation creation process in commander.

  9. It would be great if you can set a limit on bookable items. For instance a max amount of 3 for late check-outs or early check-ins. That way you can upsell without putting too much pressure on the housekeeping team.

  12. Please make it possible to show more rates than only 1 rate per rate group in the booking engine. We have multiple rates (packages) per rate group. if we need to give all the rate's a rate group than we need to make over 25 rate groups. this will then be extremely difficult to handle for the employees as they have to go trough a large list.

  14. A lot of People always travel together like spouse or friends.. With mews the fellow travellers gets lost except the person who uses mews knows that Person A is always traveling with person B. It would be fine that there is an option to connect guest profiles.

  17. We have been experiencing a lot of difficulties due to the so called auto-replenishment tool at Booking.com which cannot be deacticated. They basically sends the cancelled rooms/beds back to sales without waiting for an update from PMS first. It can lead to mismatch in the actually available inventory. This can happen especially in the situations when we e.g. upgrade reservations to other room categories. This change is not being sent to the channel manager/Booking.com at the moment.

  18. Vouchers can be associated with companies or travel agencies (instead of being public). However, currently, when a voucher is used to book a reservation, there is no voucher information or company / travel agency information attached to that reservation in Mews.

    It would be very helpful if company / travel agency and voucher codes could be attached to reservation data and if those voucher-based reservations can be searched for through the reservations reports.

  19. The ability to store passport pictures through the guest journey. Almost every self serviced apartment company requires to store passport infomation and our guest journey does not support this. This requires the owner to use something like Operto or Duve.

  20. If a regular booker (who has their default language in Dutch) books a room and wants an English confirmation, in stead of Dutch this is not possible. It would be great that when the booking engine language is set in a specific language, the bookers (or guest) gets the confirmation in that language.
