  1. Instead of listing the total price for multiple nights, which often averages out to include messy cents, list each nightly rates for the length of their stay so the pricing is clean.

  2. It would be great if you can set a limit on bookable items. For instance a max amount of 3 for late check-outs or early check-ins. That way you can upsell without putting too much pressure on the housekeeping team.

  3. Add additional field to the availability block to communicate details on the booking link. Right now, guests with booking link cannot book pre and post dates. Guests using the link do not know that and get upset. If there was a field linked to the booking link, we could add a Welcome, specify block dates, and cut-off dates, along with who to contact to book outside of the block.

  4. Mews currently does not allow restricting minors to be booked into selected room/space types. For example allowing a child to be booked to shared dormitories and especially as the sole traveler is in a breach of regulations in number of countries.

    Feature to add - option to select per space type to allow minors to be booked in and also whether only as secondary occupant to an adult or as sole occupant.

  5. Please make it possible to show more rates than only 1 rate per rate group in the booking engine. We have multiple rates (packages) per rate group. if we need to give all the rate's a rate group than we need to make over 25 rate groups. this will then be extremely difficult to handle for the employees as they have to go trough a large list.

  7. Vouchers can be associated with companies or travel agencies (instead of being public). However, currently, when a voucher is used to book a reservation, there is no voucher information or company / travel agency information attached to that reservation in Mews.

    It would be very helpful if company / travel agency and voucher codes could be attached to reservation data and if those voucher-based reservations can be searched for through the reservations reports.

  8. Allow products to be bought per person rather than based on number of people in the room e.g room is booked for 2 people but only 1 person want a massage which is an extra. Currently you can only book 1 if you choose once or per person and it is based on the number of people in the room

  9. When a reservation is created via the booking engine with an invalid payment the guest does not receive any email to tell them a reservation is on hold. The guest does receive however a cancellation email when the cancellation 'booking abandoned'. This is causing many confusions and complaints as guests did not know to begin with that a reservation is being held, they should not receive an email when this cancels .

  11. Add the possibility to add conditions for the automatic emails.
    For instance, when a guest create a last minute booking and a pre-checkin email is is sent, make sure no other email is sent to fill the profil on the same day.
    Avoiding dupplicate information.

  14. Over 80% of all customers leave a check-out before the order is finally completed. The reason for this is a lack of payment options. We want Mews to open up so that companies such as Paypal, Klarna, Vipps (for Norway) etc.++ can be integrated with the check-out solution in Mews' booking engine. The company "Dintero" collects all these payment solutions and is open to be integrated with Mews.

    This is critical for us, and especially in a market in Norway where digital payment solutions are so well implemented in the customer journey.

  15. It should be possible to add multiple pictures to be displayed for products on the booking engine (Mews distributor). The pictures should be a carousel, displayed in the "Enhance your stay" section for add-on products.

  16. Hey team,

    It would be great if we can upload our own favicon on the MEWS distributor links.
    In this way users better understand they are on the hotels brand website.
    And it will help for Google Hotel Search; currently the hotels show with a green generic logo.
    There is the option to request your own logo however following Google’s guidelines the favicon must match the final url:

  17. Ability to add mandatory fields in Mews Booking Engine and transfer this data into the reservation information in form of notes or tasks automatically. Example, what is mandatory now is last name, email and if selected telephone number. We would like to have the ability to have specific preferences to better enhance the guest stay such as high floor, quiet location, near elevator, ADA. Also include the ability to have the guest select an estimated arrival time, example 8pm. This will improve housekeeping productivity.   18. Upon not finishing a booking, having mews register the reason for not completing the reservation.
    Registering the "missed" reservations and the quantity and reason could help sales optimize potential revenue.
    This could be done with a small box saying what is the reason for not completing the reservation? (price too high, no availability, test booking etc)

  19. it would be a cool e-commerce feature increasing conversion if we could send a reminder and summary of an abandoned booking in distributor via e-mail. A personalised text and an easy way to book would be a must.
