  1. For hotels with multiple rooms with different occupancy rates, it would be very helpful if the search results in the booking engine would reflect the searched occupancy. Currently, this is not possible and rooms are always shown in the same order in the booking engine, no matter for how many people you want to book a room.

    Desired behavior: if you search for a room for 2 persons, 2-person rooms are shown at the top. But if you search for a 6-person room, the 6-person rooms should be shown at the top.

  2. When a reservation goes through Siteminder the booker information is not added in Mews. We have alot of reservations made by a booker for a guest, when the guest arrives we only have their name and the booked details are gone so if the booker wants to pay we have to add this information manually after finding it in siteminder. its all there we just need the information to be added into Mews as well.

  3. Guest/booker should be able to see which discount has been deducted from their bill, when a dynamic company rate or a campaign rate has been used.

  4. In an Enterprise environment with multiple properties, the BE should offer an alternative property if the selected property is not available. Thus offering the possibility to cross-sell rather than lose the booking.

  5. When we decided to use Mews, a big point was the booking engines features. When searching for a room for 3 or 4 persons, only rooms having 3 or 4 beds where shown for booking.
    Without telling anybody about the change, Mews now shows also rooms having pnly two beds and asked the guest to book more rooms. If a family wants to stay at our resort, the want a room/apartment having 3 or 4 beds, not 2 seperated apartments with 2 beds each. So please make it possible to change this.   6. Let me give you an example to explain my problem : Let's assume we are only open on friday night and saturday night. If a client wants to book a 2 nights journey from friday to sunday, the first picture of the booking engine calendar seen by the client shows the day of friday and saturday in black colours but the day of sunday is greyed out.   7. Currently, the city tax is not shown or added in the booking engine but only when guests have completed their booking. They then recieve a booking confirmation with a higher amount (city tax added on top of total booking amount), which causes a lot of questions. Therefore, the final amount (room + city tax) should be shown in the last step of the booking engine before the guests confirms the booking.

  8. When you check-in online you have to fill out your credit card details.
    In The Netherladns not a lot of people have a credit card, therefore a lot of people can not use this option.
    Is there a possibility to change this? Maybe by paying a deposit or just skip the credit card details?

  9. I realised that the Mews booking engine does not use labels for the form (first name, last name, email address, ...). Autofill won't work properly.

    Most browsers support autofill and I think Mews should make use of that. It will bring more convenience for guests.

  10. we would like to offer our breakfast online for campers. Due to the different VAT rates, 2 items must currently be posted (share of drinks, share of food). This is of course too cumbersome for the guest.

    Is there a way that I can create a product when the guest books (e.g. breakfast camping 15,-) and Mews automatically splits this booked service into two products?

  12. We should be able to create a booking engine for companies, where booking is only possible if you have a voucher code. This prevent guests withour a company agreement to book without giving credit card information.

  14. Currently we are only able to upload one logo, which is used both in the top left of the booking engine, as well as the top of the email templates. As a result, we are stuck with a logo that works for one or the other, but not both.

    We would like to be able to set separate logos, so we can tailor them to the exact purpose they are being used for.

  16. This way front of house operations weill not affect rates shown in the IBE
    Many hotels have a lower rate in FOH to make currency exchanges, but this affects the rate shown on the IBE

  18. Currently, the only way how guest can find out about the restriction is when the restriction is applied across the entire property. If there's a different length of stay restriction attached to different space categories, the guest receives a "NO AVAILABILITY" message.

  19. Currently we are able to set up a booking engine for each bookable service, and even select which rooms/rates we want to display per engine. Works great!

    However, the only branding/names displayed in the booking engine are the company name, and the room type name.

    If you have double rooms in two different bookable services, under the same company. It get's a little bit confusing for the guest as to which actual place it is that they are booking.

    A custom name would be great, or an (optional) subheader with the bookable service name would also suffice.
