Granular User Privileges
"By expanding user privilege assignment, admin users can now assign privileges to each employee with much more flexibility. Privileges can be organized with dependencies, and in addition to creating different assignable privilege sets, individual privileges can be granted or revoked according to each employee's operational duties."
A new solutions for permissions is now in progress

Currently you can see all mail queue items and the fact they were successful or failed etc. But you can't see or download a copy of the email. Whilst you can resend most emails or even send a copy to yourself from the reservation screen you can't resend or get copies of the charge success/failure emails.

Would be great to have a log of all the e-mails sent attached to the reservation(s) and/or profile.

I like to have the following privileges seperated in MEWS. So only the finacial accounting department can add or change:
-Settings -> Finance -> ALL
-Settings -> Sales -> Services -> Service -> Products -> Accounting category -

Staff privileges- Reservation staff need to be able to access reservations fully, but not have the ability to override the quantity of guests to be more than the room capacity . A fail safe is needed

Currently we are unable to track if and when a confirmation was sent to a customer. It would be great to receive an email CC of the confirmation to our common address. In that way it is clear to see when the confirmation was sent and what details are confirmed.

This is very importent for us. As we want to see if we have send the guest a confirmation or a bill. So we don't have to question this

Add an option 'Merchant refuding' under the workplace privileges.
This way per employee can be decided if he/she is allowed to do a Merchant refund. Now everyone can. -

The Mews housekeeping application allows easy communication regarding the spaces being cleaned. However, unfortunately, if the application is being used by the housekeeping staff, those members also have access to the web interface, which includes reports and other sensitive information. Restricting this access could help protect your data and also give only information that is needed for each position.

Refunding a transaction can involve sensitive processes and effect property revenue, which means that employees should use the upmost care as they give refunds to guests. With the addition of a user privilege, properties could restrict this action to be completed by only management or admin users. This could prevent mistakes in the future or help managers keep a closer eye on all refunded revenue.

By adding an additional privilege to employee profiles, managers or admins could remove access to these reports for any individuals that do not need to see it.
