Granular User Privileges
"By expanding user privilege assignment, admin users can now assign privileges to each employee with much more flexibility. Privileges can be organized with dependencies, and in addition to creating different assignable privilege sets, individual privileges can be granted or revoked according to each employee's operational duties."

This would be especially helpful when guests complain about receiving too many emails or that they are not receiving our emails

An alternative to this would also be to access emails sent via the action log tab on the reservation or profile...

100% require this, our team needs access to review communications to guests without admin rights

As an alternative access to mail queue items could be included in Create and manage customers in order for the front office staff to be able to easily access the information

Email sent to be logged in the action log in order to give a quick overview of the guest email communication, in addition a link to the mail queue link so the employee could easily access the email. If non admin users could have access to mail queue as a separate work privilege it would enhance the user experience for this suggestion

Hi Viktor to see the mails, just go to the profile of the guest. Clik on first tab, 'Dashboard', an don the upper right corner, (when you have the rights), you can see all mails sended to the guest.
Let's hope that the permission will be given to all user of Mews (not only, supefvisors), and that this option will also be available for Companies, when new company profile will be finalised. -

This feature has been released, but why can't we see the mails sent to the customer under the mailing tab of the reservation? From a user experience point of view, this would be much more convenient than going to the Mail Queue section and searching for a specific mail address and time period.

It is handy to be notified when an email has not been delivered.
This means usually that the email address is incorrect, and we should contact the guest to see if they received all the information, such as the confirmation letter.Or if it possible to create an export schedule of the 'mail queue items' list/report.

If sales / reservation team wants to push inventory manually they need admin access to manage marketplace channel manager integration. This is not desired and risky for property administrator.

I think the option for receptionist to amend a price while booking customers in should be removed. Right now, all receptionist and managers can change prices, there should be an option that allows manager to decide who is able to amend prices and who isn't.

This is a basic operational issue. Every end user, with guest contact should be able to see, what kind of operational mails, have been send to the guest. Not having this possibility, is like the 'Groom' have to bring the luggage to the room, but he don't have the key to enter the room.

Currently an employee need to have Admin rights to be able to push ARI to SM.
This should be a privilege in itself that we can assign to relevant staff members as you might not want your employee(s) in your Distribution/Rates team to have PMS full admin rights. -

There already are multiple tickets in this forum around the need to have the ability to pull an employee report, which also would need to outline the employees privileges. This should be a given.
In addition to this, an active user report would also help to mitigate the potential risk for misuse of terminated staff accounts. Outlining the employee's last login would help with this.
The report would also need to outline whether employees have 2FA enabled or not.
Having all info available within the one report would be the best outcome:
-List of employees who have access to the PMS
-Their privileges in the PMS
-Their last login
-The 2FA enabling -

Anyone who has the privilege to "create reservation" automatically has the privilege to use the House Use functionality. This should not be the case as only managers should have the right to take rooms out of inventory and stop-sell. (Same principle than for OOO, which is an entirely separate privilege)

We require the possibility for employees to access the Marketplace without being administrators of a property.
We want the employee to not access the employee section of Mews, but still be able to use the Marketplace.

Separate out the option of Deleting Products from the current workplace privileges rights of Create and Manage Products, in our eyes the ability to delete a product should only be associated with select employees, but creating and updating products should be something more individuals should have access to, but we don’t want them all to be able to delete things.
