Property Operations and PMS: this is the forum for posting your ideas and comments on all aspects of hotel operations, from reservations to events to metrics and reports. You'll find a category here for each of the major topics in property management, and if you can't find the right category, please search or post to the Other category. Where we can, we'll move ideas around to group them as intuitively as possible for the product managers working on the PMS.

  1. Will be a good thing to have the possibility to download all daily invoices to one PDF to store them in digital format, to avoid using paper and saving time to do that one by one.

  2. Delay or even cancel the pop-ups on Occupancy and Availability screens. They are incredibaly anoying when you are trying to look at data, and they constantly pop-up or down above, below when you hoover over your availability and occupancy screen.

    Please make sure there is a small delay, i.e. when you stopt for 0,5 seconds that it pops up.

  4. With this feature, the Travel agency will be automatically updated depending on the rate chosen.
    It avoid to forget to add the Travel agency upon making the booking.

  5. Add additional filters to the Bills & Invoices report. This will allow various departments to search for specific bills & invoices as they require.

  6. Currently you are only able to select one export target for schedules. This means that for each configuration of people you need a new target. It would be useful to have targets setup for each individual person, then when creating a schedule you select multiple targets (people). This would make it easier to change who an export schedule gets sent to as well as making it easier to create schedules.

  8. In Italy we are facing the issue, that each invoice has to be print out on a specific invpice paper and only one time. So the night receptionists have to keep track of all the bills closed on one day which they do by using the bill and invoices report. It would be even more helpful to have an extra column added with the amount of prints so that they don't have to click in each bill.

  9. There is no space to register the date of an card payment by terminal or an external payment, like a wire transfer. This is needed to keep the accounting reports correct, when a wire transfer is registed not on the same day.

  13. The virtual credit card must be deleted/disabled automatically after a useless time. In general these CC serves to charge once and are no longer to be valid. It can be very useful for the regular customer profiles.

  14. NR Bookings made via booking.com with different guestnames are not taken over in Mews. If you do yourself, and delete bookers name, payment information dissapears. How to implement other name in single room without changing payment info?

  15. The system should be able to propose the cheapest rate possible to our guests (like booking.com does). Mixing the rates to offer the best deal is a guarantee to compete better against booking.com. Not mixing the rates allows booking.com to steal bookings from us. Exemple: you activate a Last Minute deal on the next 48h. A guest want to arrive today and stay for 3 days. On booking.com, he will see a rate mixed from the last minute rate (for the 2 first nights) and from another rate for the 3d night. On our booking engine, you will see either…

  16. When viewing over 2 weeks of occupancy and you scroll right, the name of the categories disappear. Keep it frozen so you never loose sight of what category you are looking at.

  17. House Accounts which are regularly used tend load/open slowly due to high volumes of transactions.

    Can we move historical data (90days and older) to a separate account or only load the most recent data when opening the account (last 60 days)

    This will assist efficiency and speed when charging to house accounts.

  18. Currently, when creating a product under Services, the details of the stay will appear on the bill. With making this possible, the product created under Services will appear on bills as well.

  19. Mews does not provide the number of check-ins completed using the Mews Operator, In the reservations tile on the Mews dashboard a number of statistics are displayed in a widget. It would beneficial to add the number of Operator / kiosk check-ins to this widget
