  1. good example to state my feature request:

    Some of our hotels offer breakfast as optional service. The customers add it when placing a reservation in the booking engine. The "breakfast during your stay" product is calculating the amount of persons and the amount of nights. We have the correct information that the booking is placed with 2 adults and 1 kid. The price of the breakfast for a kid is cheaper, so it could be interesting if you can add two prices in one product: a price for an adult and a price for a kid.

  2. Not only to make it easier for employees but also to prevent people from having multiple usernames and passwords so that when someone is terminated, the access to all systems can easily be removed.

  3. The new Billing screen is just horrible.
    I switch to the old billing screen everytime and i guess i am not the only one doing that. When i ask others, they think the same.
    Having a vertical menu is not a bad idea, but I cannot use the new menu because its a pain ********** to read what's on the screen.
    Everything is in the same white square, and I can barely see what is what except if i take time to focus on the screen... What is the point of having a social media-like interface if it burns my…

  5. For properties, only the reservation manager has access to the Rate Management in Mews. So when employees are changing the rate of the booking, they will not be able to know what was the original price of the rate. They will only see from the action log the original rate and not the original price. Properties are pushing not just the original rate but also the original price of the rate in the action log without the products attached.

  7. Currently, once created, bookable services can never be deleted. If you create some by accident you then have to live with them as they take up valuable up display real-estate (and increase the time it takes to figure out what to click on).

    Please introduce the option to delete those (either from the property or from the support level).

    Hello, we are happy to inform you we have enabled service deletion in Mews.

    Bookable services can be now deleted if there is no space category or space feature or reservation linked to them.

  8. This is one for the account creators out there and should already be a thing.

    Adding users to each site individually is a ridiculous process that takes far too long. There should be a centralised account creation page where you can just tick a box for which sites/properties you want to assign them access to.

    The fact you cant have multiple sites open at once is another hurdle that needs to be addressed.

  9. Allow a free text 'notes' section in the emails sent to the guests. This is to have a more personalised communication and add details such as information about the driver if the bookings includes a transfer or to confirm that a specific request/preference from the guest has been recorded (for example: request for a room with a view, acknowledgment of a food allergy, etc.)

  10. Be able to put a restriction by segment if we want to stop a distribution to OTAs or others channels classified by segment.
    At that time the only way is to close rate by rate and this is very time consuming

  12. we should have an option to click on the red line and see straight away where you have the overbooking. Sometimes the overbooking is two years later and you waste your time following the red line

  13. Allowing to group the same products together on a bill would make it clearer for the guest. For example, if a guest stays for 15 days, his invoice will include 15 times the 'local tax' product making the invoice lengthy and not easy to read.
    It would be better to simply display local tax x 15, for example.
    It could maybe be set for specific products when configuring them.

  14. To be able to set the email address that the companies can respond to with queries for 'invoicable' companies. This email should show on the front of the email received by the company and be different to the email for queries for individual customers.

  16. When restrictions are in place (for example: minimal stay 2 nights) the internal user CANNOT see the rate on those given days. In fact when restrictions are in place the hotelier cannot see any of the rates. So when there is a WALK IN or a request the hotelier is flying blind. Therefore: even when restrictions are in place there should be an option that hoteliers or certain users can still see the rates of that day.

  18. It would be great if when changing the dates of a reservation in the properties tab you could have an option to keep the same price when changing the dates. This could be added as it is the apply cancellation fees, which you can select or not. Specially now with the Covid-19 crisis we are changing a lot of reservation dates keeping the conditions for our guests, and if the price of the new dates is higher than the price they had, when you change the dates the price per night is automatically updated.   19. Due to the actual situation we have a high interest in walk in numbers. At the moment there is possibility to get a walk in figure. It can be only assumed reservations for the same day are walk ins, but its not clear at all. Therefore we request a walk in origin code which can be much better tracked.
