  1. Currently the system has two logic when you want to apply an exception to a restriction: merge with existing exceptions or replace all exceptions but sometimes it is behaving the same way.

    For example: I want a rate to be available if people stay 3 nights or 7 nights (not 4, 5 o 6 as this will create availability gaps), the system does not allow you, when you try to put the second exception it replaces the first one. The solution I have been given its to create 2 different rates, but I cannot create a new rate every time…

  2. It would be useful if the "missed check out" status could be represented on the timeline by the reservation changing colour, similar to the "missed departure" status where the reservation changes to orange the day after they were supposed to check out. This could also be shown in the app. Currently the "missed check out" status can only be seen in the Reservations Overview Report.

  5. Products have the ability to send a message to an individual or department when created. It would be great to have the ability to automatically create a task as well. This would need to have their own notification fields of who to create the task for.

  7. Hi all,

    the action log sould be more easier to understand.

    The commands / logs that are recorded are not clear enough.
    If a guest checks out at the Mews Kiosk then in the action log it is:

    State changed from Started to processed ....

    That doesnt make any sense and staff do not know what action was beeing done. Better is to state: checked in or checked out...

  9. As a property that hosts guests for long stays, it is important to know what guest is associated with what product.

    When a product is charged (1x) and consumed by one person and two people are on a reservation, there is no way to determine what guest is associated with what product. This gets more complicated the more products purchased that are for single consumption.

  12. Add to the current list of Interval option of a Continuous 7 days that begins the report at "Current Day 00:00 to +7 days at 00:00"

    This would allow a daily export of product services sold to show any 7 days out at all times and would also include any late changes that happen for last minute bookings with a cancellation period, add-ons over the phone, and so forth.   13. We are using the automatic export feature to export financial reports. The only choice is CSV, XLS, JSON. We are missing PDF. Our export target is the accountant. For legal reasons, he does not accept anything else than PDF.

  15. Hello,

    Just want to give feedback and maybe you do have this issue under your To Do list.

    Guest's check in and check out in mews.
    Then guests do have reservations for next night and next next day, for different rate etc.

    Reception is not able to make key in the same room for two different reservations, in this case we do it manually. Sometimes, payment is paid, key cards are made, the CHECK IN button is forgotten.

    Same situation, if a guest checks out and pays his bill, then some sale spich and reception forgot to press the CHECK…

  16. Make the "send marketing postal mail" option available alongside "send marketing emails" in the mews import file.

    Many hotels – including ours – are treating e-mail opt-in differently from postal opt-in and would like to import their customer information accordingly.

  17. Wenn man einen Mindestaufenthalt eingestellt hat, gibt es keinen einfachen Weg, Lücken zu öffnen (z.B. bei Mindestaufenthalt 5 Nächte eine Lücke von 3 Nächten zu öffnen)
    Entweder könnte man dies automatisieren oder es vereinfachen, die Restriktionen für einzelne Zimmer and einzelnen Daten anzupassen

  18. In the timeline, there is no neat separation between different room types leading to mistakes when moving around reservations. It would be helpful to have a gap in between or a thicker line to make the separation more clear.

  19. When using the search bar for reservation 123 Mews often displays too many results as it includes anything with 1 , 2 , or 3. Recently had to search for confirmation 61 and the list of matching results was too long. Should be able to filter exact search therefore returns one match as the reservation is a unique number.
