  3. When using MEWS to manage a small F&B outlet via Services/Products, it would be nice to be able to link a small POS slip printer e.g. Epson TMT-20, to issue guests a cash invoice for the service if requested that is not on A4.

  5. When using Commander on an iPad, when selecting links such as under Finance, Reports and Reservations the links are very close together and when touched, there is no response or incorrect input as your finger may accidentally touch the wrong link. You have to be careful where you touch. On a laptop or computer, there doesn't seem to be a problem but with a smaller screen there is a challenge. Maybe spacing these links slightly more apart or using a slightly larger font would help in accidental input.

  6. How is is not possible to move guests to another room, without making a new reservation or splitting a reservation. Too much work in to a simple action. Too much work where is no extra time for these trying times with too little employees.

    We currently offer several ways to move reservations including dragging and dropping reservations to another room from the timeline, as well as the ability to move reservations to another space from the status tab of the reservation screen or to a different space category from the properties tab on the reservations screen.

  7. Being able to apply discounts on the fly from the New Reservation Screen with different rates based on the service. Example: 15% on Accommodation, 5% on F&B ... Revenues need to be reflected accordingly per Accounting category.

    Hey Mewsers, Good News! We started working on your feature request and relative products will be available soon.

    You will be able to add positive or negative % relative products to Mews and apply them to reservations through the ‘Add product’ function on the new reservation screen.

    We will update this request once this is available in production.

  8. a solution for a minimum length of stay restrictions setup where the applied minimum stay restrictions reduce in steps as we near the arrival date.
    The client set 3 close to stay restrictions which take into consideration the 3 following rules:

    If one were to book 60+ days ahead of arrival they would be required to book a minimum of 14 days
    If one were to book 35-59 days ahead of arrival they would be required to book a minimum of 4 days

  9. To be able to have the option to update the voucher for existing reservations. Unfortunately, if you're looking to update the voucher you need to cancel the reservation and create new once as there is no way to update voucher, only when creating initial booking.

  11. we need a reason - test. We run tests in demo and smoke tests in prod.
    Would be great if we can take out cancellation statistics by this reason, in case they were test bookings

  12. When changing the dates of a reservation, in my opinion, there is a step missing where Mews confirms if there is availability for the same type of room and informs the new price (to be accepted or not).

  13. Receive a notification (email) when a guest orders a product or service as an upsell at the kiosk check-in process. Currently this is only possible for all products and services ordered through both commander and channel. We would like to see the option to enable notifications only for kiosk transactions. In this way the reception knows which actions to take next.

  14. we just hat the situation that a guest complained because we forgot a task.

    This happened because the colleague who created the task forgot to set a Department.

    As the Department just check the Task reports with the filter of their Department no one had this task on their report.

    Is it possible to set the Department as a mandatory field?

  15. Need to have the ability to automatically pre-authorize full room + tax + additional amount per night or per stay.

    When a guest books a reservation, the day of their arrival a credit card pre-authorization is charged based upon the hotels guidelines. It could be $50 to $250 above the full room + tax charges depending upon the property as well as the space type. In several systems, it is automated. In SNT online check-in, we created a pre-authorization at time of online check-in. Therefore, when the room was already pre-paid or when a guest still had a balance due…

  16. Having an inbox in Mews where all messages from different OTAs come would be absolutely fantastic.

    All messages would come directly to the PMS and properties wouldn't have to go to all OTAs separately.

  17. L'écran "aperçu des réservations" montre les arrivées en commençant par les prénoms et non les noms. Ceci serait plus simple d'avoir les noms des clients EN ENTIER, même sans le prénom!

    The "Reservation overview" screen shows arrivals starting with first names and not last names. It would be easier to have the names of the clients IN FULL, even without the first name!

  18. That will be very useful to have the possibility to add a note for the customer when creating a reservation. This feature would prevent us from having to send additionnals e-mails. For the moment we only have the possibilty to add a note for ourselves...

  19. Tasks that are automatically created for bookings based on rate code, company, travel agent or rate group. For example: with a special promo including a dinner all guests need to be contacted with regards to dietary restrictions OR
    all booking that are received from HRS the CC details still need to be retrieved from the extranet eetc. etc.
