  2. It would be helpful if files like Confirmations/Contracts could be added to a Block. For most blocks we have seperate contracts that need to be attached to the block on a high level like Dashboard or Block Details. Then all contracts & Documents are on the Master Block and could be easily tracked

  3. Hello! to be able to change the number of pax per date like the rate! avoiding insering different reservations. sometimes the same room can be in double fo 2 nights and than in single ....

  4. Hi all,

    the action log sould be more easier to understand.

    The commands / logs that are recorded are not clear enough.
    If a guest checks out at the Mews Kiosk then in the action log it is:

    State changed from Started to processed ....

    That doesnt make any sense and staff do not know what action was beeing done. Better is to state: checked in or checked out...

  6. In germany we have to split breakfast in two parts: breakfast food with 7% VAT and breakfast drinks with 19% VAT. This is complicated for the guest to understand as we need two breakfast products and also for the breakfast team in the product report. Does anyone have a solution for that or is there a possibility to merge the two breakfast products in one? We know that other PMS make this happen.

  9. There is a recurring need for hotels to track multiple reservations assigned to a unit. Oftentimes 2+ individuals, arriving at separate times, will each need a reservation for the same unit/dates. Sometime that nightly rate will also need to be split between these reservations.

  10. Would be good to have possibility to send more personalised mails. For example, we organise a lot of pop up events (BBQ in summer, concerts, ...). People need to subscribe in advance.

    Would be great to be able to send these kind of mails from MEWS.
    What's differente compared to actual MEWS mail templates?
    - content is different every month
    - we should be able to choose ourselves when we do want to send this mail and when not (for example if we organise a BBQ next sunday, it should not be send to any other guests than those staying…

  11. can we avoid manual work i.e. putting names / creating profiles when we receive rooming list for groups ?
    Anyway for Mews to read and process rooming list in Excel or Word form ?

  12. Implementation of a feature to automatically log-out signed-in employees after a certain amount of time, and additionally, a quick key to log out.
    In some cases, multiple employees work on one computer and forget to log out. A quick key to log out would make it easier.

  13. Occasionally, it happens that groups request extra rooms, on top of the allotment. Therefore, someone with overbooking privileges should also be able to book extra rooms from an availability block.

    The only way at the moment is to adjust the availability block first and then add the extra confirmed rooms. It would be much more efficient if you could just book an extra room and thus have more than 100% pick-up.

    This is also interesting from an analysis point of view, as you can immediately negotiate additional rooms in the block when you receive your next enquiry.

  14. At the moment in most cases we have to split reservations to perform a room change.
    It would be good to make a room move without any issues. One or two clicks the most would be good.

  16. A better and quicker way to name the group different from the booker. Now it is a mess to get it changed properly. It is always switching and the group name cannot be different as the booker of the group on an easy way.

  17. There is a need to send customizable pre-arrival emails, based off of pre-written templates that are specific to the guest's room type. A couple of different template options, and the ability to customize the message before sending it. That's what we need, desperately.

  20. When managing different bookable services, like we are. It would be helpful if you can show the name of the bookable service on the booking engine. As it can get confusing for guests to see the hotel's name on top when booking the apartments they manage under a different name across the street.

    Or, like us, when you manage multiple small properties in a single Mews environment, each with it's own name and address.
