Allow a bookable service to have it's own name in the booking engine, and it's own address details
When managing different bookable services, like we are. It would be helpful if you can show the name of the bookable service on the booking engine. As it can get confusing for guests to see the hotel's name on top when booking the apartments they manage under a different name across the street.
Or, like us, when you manage multiple small properties in a single Mews environment, each with it's own name and address.

Merge two breakfast parts with different VATs to one
In germany we have to split breakfast in two parts: breakfast food with 7% VAT and breakfast drinks with 19% VAT. This is complicated for the guest to understand as we need two breakfast products and also for the breakfast team in the product report. Does anyone have a solution for that or is there a possibility to merge the two breakfast products in one? We know that other PMS make this happen.

minimum stay
We would lwant a smart ristriction to have a minimum stay of 2 nights without any revenue loss of open one nights. For example: guest A books from Mo-Wed, guest B books from Fri-Sun -> Thur night will stay open due to the current possibilities in ristrictions.

Create task for item added by customer during booking process
Currently the option "create task when added by customer" for stay items is only triggered when the guest adds this after they have completed the booking process. However, a task should be created each time a guest adds this item. Even during the booking process as certain orders or actions need to be taken so we can ensure that the item added can be guaranteed to the guest upon check-in.

Send link for credit card (no payment)
Have the option to send a link to the payment portal without amount, so the guest can enter their credit card securely. This is especially important for reservations via phone or email.

Restrict Products
There are other suggestions about restricting products, but would also be good to restrict products by Room category, and rates/ packages/ dates
For example -
1 offer a cot to rooms that can only accommodate cots and not to all rooms2 offer pet products to rooms that can accommodate a cot and not to all rooms
3 only offer a product on specific dates, rather than all, or seasonally within a certain date range - Strawberries in Summer
4 by package type, if a rate includes a product you wont necessarily want to add again

import calender events
We are looking to IMPORT new calender events, as we have a chain of 15 hotels and need to add these events seperately for each event, each hotel...

Add "guest name" as a placeholder in the text of "Booker Confirmation"
Although the name of the guest appears in the reservation details, it would be great to be able to add the name of the guest (as a placeholder) in the text and subject of the email for the "Booker Confirmation".
For example:

Option to reserve extra rooms in availability block
Occasionally, it happens that groups request extra rooms, on top of the allotment. Therefore, someone with overbooking privileges should also be able to book extra rooms from an availability block.
The only way at the moment is to adjust the availability block first and then add the extra confirmed rooms. It would be much more efficient if you could just book an extra room and thus have more than 100% pick-up.
This is also interesting from an analysis point of view, as you can immediately negotiate additional rooms in the block when you receive your next enquiry.

End of day Restriction / Stopsell
We don't have 24 hour reception so it would be helpful if, when reception closes, we can put a restriction / stopsell on the remaining rooms so no one can book them after hours
We are currently adding a Restriction with the start date and end date being the same to get around this issue
Blocking multiple rooms is also time consuming and alters management reportsAs great as Mews is, I've used 6 other PMS and this is the first one to not have a feature similar to this

duplicated reservations
Duplicated reservations currently needs manual removal, to create automation to allow for bulk deletion of duplicated reservations.

Group reservations booker/owner
A better and quicker way to name the group different from the booker. Now it is a mess to get it changed properly. It is always switching and the group name cannot be different as the booker of the group on an easy way.

Showing dates on rooms overvooked
Often when guest book in advance we have to search all over the calendar which room are overbooked. When this happen, instead of spending time searching between 2 years, Mews could simply show which dates are overbooked so we could access it straight away

Customizable pre-arrival email template
There is a need to send customizable pre-arrival emails, based off of pre-written templates that are specific to the guest's room type. A couple of different template options, and the ability to customize the message before sending it. That's what we need, desperately.
