  1. THE SYSTEM SHOULD BE BASED ACCORDING TO THE COUNTRY THE HOTEL IS IN.

    WE ARE HERE IN CALIFORNIA USA AND WE HAVE MONTH DATE AND YEAR BUT THE SYSTEM IS UK BASED SO THEY HAVE IT IN THE OTHER WAY!!

    IT MAKES CONFUSING FOR THE GUEST.

  3. There is only one value which can be assigned to a stay product. Some products can have variable values. A setting would be helpful to allow some products to have their value changed. This would allow for variable products to be billed/reported against reservations as opposed to as editable service product.

  4. It would be very useful to have a report that helps us find guest profile by their classification (VIP, previous complaint, etc.).
    That permits to have an over view of all the guests who have a classification and put some special offer on for them

    Thank you for the feedback.

    You are able to view all profiles that are registered in Mews and have classifications attached from the reservations report. The filter in the report that will help you view this is called “Customer classification”, it sits under the “Group by” section, of the reservations report.

  5. We would love a report that we can pull for housekeeping to estimate staffing levels - only with upcoming arrival and departure dates, without guests email addresses, phone numbers and rates. A possibility to strip out that information automatically would be great to send it to an outsourced housekeeping team.

    Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. 

    We are very happy to inform you that we have released an update for the Space Status report that will allow you to report on the total number of arrivals, departures and stay overs. 

    The updates apply to the header of the Space Status report, and the report export where you will find a new "Totals" tab. 

  6. Today, if you have an overbooking of 2 Classic rooms, but only 1 Deluxe room, the system will still send availability for 1 Deluxe room even though you are in overbooking of 1 room. It can be extremely dangerous.

  7. I recommend adding a field to the customer profile or reservation about disabilities. For example, someone in a wheelchair that cannot use the top bunk. Personally, I would like to let the hotel know that I am deaf.

    It is currently possible to add the customer classification "Disabled person" in the customer internals section of a guests profile

  9. Once a reservation is canceled in Mews, unfortunately it must be recreated in case a guest decides they would like to stay. This can be inconvenient in case of no shows that must come the next day or reservations that may have been canceled accidentally. An additional feature to reinstate canceled bookings could help simplify these occasions as all booking details could be preserved and records would be unified.

  11. Would be much easier to assign floors to every housekeeper instead of spaces. They already work everyday by floor so would help them to keep the same organization that we have today. Also regarding the assignments would it be nice if they can see them on the Commander app. That will void printing reports everyday. The supervisor can assign a floor and the housekeeper can be able to see that on the app in order to know what need to be done during their shift.

    Now it’s possible to set up bookable services in Mews for day use, allowing guests to reserve and use spaces at your property for a limited time period during a single day.

You can offer luxurious “daycations” to locals, cater to travelers looking for a few hours’ rest during layovers, or host professionals in need of temporary workspaces or meeting rooms.

  17. When we do a Rebate, the credit note should automatically create the same charge in negative and the payments and already close the bill.

    And we should know if an invoice was rebated and which is the credit note related.

    Released - now there is an ability to either Change address on the closed invoice or do an Invoice reinstate to the open bill, in either case the Credit note would be automatically issued and link to the original invoice.

    Thank you for your request, we are happy to inform you that it is no possible to group by groups in the reservation report in order to view all of the groups in your property. 

    For larger groups you can use the availability block report to view group information.

  19. We zouden het fijn vinden als er op de tijdlijn meer met fellere kleuren gewerkt zou worden. Aankomst, ingecheckt, uitgecheckt/ toekomstige boeking.. Dit maakt het onderscheid makkelijker.
