  1. When sending Support Cases, we can not see what was already sent, even when receiving a reply we can not see our originally asked question.
    It would be good to have an overview of all Support Cases in the company in one place. This makes communication easier and we can always refresh our knowledge by going through tickets instead of asking again and to have One raised case as a one thread.

  2. Have a commission module to have the ability to track third party bookings commission (and very handy when it comes to verify accuracy of third party invoice and/or make amend where required)

  3. Dear Mews Team,

    Could you create a new Mobile Application where it will be possible to directly use Mews website instead of using an internet browser (like Google Chrome, Safari,...) on iPhone / iPad ?

    At the moment the interface is not so user friendly and it could really save us time by creating a dedicated application like the MewsCommander app.

  4. It would be great if you had the option to not only update a task when opening it, but also to close it from that same window. Now you need to update it, close the task and then only are you able to complete it from the list (task list or within the reservation).
    would save time if you had that close button within the task (so both update and complete/close)

  5. It would be very useful if you could view the status of an existing support case (e.g. see if it's been looked at, actioned, etc.) via the digital assistant. Currently once a case is submitted via the digital assistant, I'm not aware of a way to contact support without creating another case via the digital assistant. If you email [email protected] the automated reply says emails cannot be responded to directly, and creates another case.

    It would be much simpler if you could give your case number to the digital assistant to get a link to a summary page. Also, it…

  6. It would be great that we could set a ring/bell signal for some urgent tasks, like for: Late check out, wake-up call, any other urgent task. So you hear that something urgent needs to be done, also when you do not look at the desktop screen.

  7. During the rate setting we use round figures ( 99€ for one night) but when we use a discount of 10% for example, the rate for the room will show up on the website like this : 89.1€. This is not efficient.
    Is this possible to choose how we want to display the rate, in fact we would like to use round figures on the website, the idea is the round it.

  8. Being able to share / attach files in any internal or external communication.
    Sharing data in a similar way to Line (for example lost item, housekeeping issue pictures etc. )

  9. Right now, it is only possible to check rate totals when creating a new reservation. Even then, the total price is shown based only on the currently selected rate for stay and products added. A rate query tool would be a great option to help clarify and check prices, availability, and restrictions that may apply to different rates, with or without certain products. This additional functionality could also help revenue, sales, and marketing departments to save time and streamline their efforts.

  10. we just hat the situation that a guest complained because we forgot a task.

    This happened because the colleague who created the task forgot to set a Department.

    As the Department just check the Task reports with the filter of their Department no one had this task on their report.

    Is it possible to set the Department as a mandatory field?

  11. I have 2 requests that both pertain to the rooming list functionality.

    1) I would like to be able to edit rooming lists once they are downloaded. Right now, they download as locked excel spreadsheets. That means it is impossible to add notes, or simply delete columns that are not relevant. I would like to share rooming lists with clients, but that is not possible without being able to edit them.

    2) If reservations within a group have two companions noted in the reservation, the rooming list duplicates each reservation, making the groups appear double in size. This is confusing,…

  12. it is not always easy to find access to input calendar events. is there a way you are able to add it to the drop down menu for either rates or reservations, or even timeline.
    the only way i find it now is through burger menu, settings, services and then click back at the top left corner on the name of the property. seems a bit weird.

    plus it would be great if their could be a note field so that reservations know what rate, minimum stay, etc should be offered on those days

  16. Currently, tasks in Mews can only be marked with a deadline and then completed. However, it would be very helpful to have an additional status — such as “In Progress” — to indicate when someone has already started working on a task.

    This would greatly improve team communication and coordination, especially in situations where multiple users might otherwise pick up the same task or wonder whether it’s already being handled.

    Having a clear task lifecycle (e.g. To Do → In Progress → Done) would provide more visibility and reduce confusion.

  17. I see a lot of cool ideas from all Mews customers, but it would be so nice if any hotel could comment on each idea.

    If I put in a idea I need to wait a very long time for the voting process. What I would suggest, when a new idea is written by a hotel, is that Mews sends a message or emails to all its hotels (divided over several days to prevent spam emails).   19. MEWS is very often asking for Feedback in a small window and asks how likely it is, that I would recommend MEWS regarding to the action I just took.
    I really love MEWS, and like to involve and help.
    I always have to either rate or cancel this window, and if a couple of tasks is going on, or more than one customer is before me, my workflow is really disturbed. It would be lovely if you'd ask not so often or in another way.
