This functionality is to create a tax exempt on the bill after the items was charged. This functionality is used often in first nation hotel. They have access to tax exempt number that they can show to the Hotel. Those exemption is apply on very specific circonstance, per example the hotel is located in a first nation territory. This option is interesting reducing the number of products create to be able to support the tax exempt.
I have a reservation for mr Smith
This customer show is exemption number to the front desk upon check out
I press on my exemption button and select products and rates and confirm
The original transaction are reversed
The need transaction are insert without taxe -

Gift vouchers allow your customers to share their appreciation for a brand with others. These prepaid vouchers can be used for purchases at the establishment, both in-person and online.
Once a gift voucher is sold, the amount is stored in the transaction records. Upon a guest's stay at the establishment, the gift voucher is redeemed on the arrival date. Often, only a portion of the voucher's value is redeemed. This process should be straightforward and automated to minimize manual tasks at the front desk.
The establishment requires a report detailing the vouchers sold, those consumed, and those fully or partially redeemed, including the associated stays.
Benefits:
Increase revenue of the establishment
Increase Payments in Mews
Example:
I purchased a $100 voucher card for my friend, Claudine Vio. I selected the amount, entered the recipient's email address, paid with my credit card, and confirmed the transaction. The payment was processed, and the gift voucher was created and stored. Claudine reserved a night for $150. I redeemed the gift voucher, which was applied to the bill. Claudine needs to pay the remaining balance of $50.
