This status update is part of our ongoing work to simplify and streamline how our UserVoice feedback forum operates. We are reducing the number of statuses to two (Idea to Upvote + Released) to help manage expectations about where each idea stands and to minimize the number of status updates required from our product teams. An error occurred while saving the comment Sam commentedThis would save so much time for staff! Mews messaging is a good idea but was introduced as another chat function teams need to monitor, creating more work rather than reducing work.

We reopened this request for further upvotes. It is fairly clear what is being requested and it will need more investigation from Mews. In the mean time we would ask you to continue to up vote if this is still a required connectivity feature request.

An error occurred while saving the comment Sam commentedAgree, we need this statistic data. Plus when you create a same day reservation in the evening it always adds the arrival time as the property check-in time, impossible to check-in hours before the reservation is created, if the arrival time has past the reservations should create with the current time as the arrival time.

It is possible to require the postcode when booking via OTAs, Mews booking engine needs to catch up and let us customise this.
Additionally there is the possibility to tick that the guest does not want their address displayed, if we cannot require the address to make a reservation then have this automatically ticked for the initial deposit bill - this is what the teams do manually anyway, Mews should not decide this for us let us choose to have this automatically selected.
