    Hallo Jolina,

    ich weiß nicht, ob du das siehst, aber es ist hier immer von Vorteil, die Sachen auf Englisch zu verfassen, da dann potentiell sehr viel mehr Stimmen zusammenkommen können, als nur von DACH-Hoteliers. Deswegen habe ich das einmal übersetzt und auf Englisch gepostet. Vielleicht kann Mews das zusammen mergen und hoffentlich kommen so noch ein paar mehr Stimmen zusammen. :)

    Have a "Check-out-Button" after closing a bill/invoice of a departing guest

    It would save a lot of time during check-outs as now we have to navigate back to the reservation screen or the check-out report to check the guest out after we've closed there bill. So it would be great to have an option right then and there when closing bills of departing guests.

    What are you trying to do? It makes no sense to print an actual bill without closing it, because then it is not an actual bill yet. That's what previews and proformas are for.
    In most countries (or probably all of them) there are some sort of laws around bills and invoices. That's why the bill numbers are only generated upon closing the bill. In lots of countries that also "fiscalizes" the bill as now it is an official tax document that you are not allowed to tamper with.

    I would like to understand, what your use case is for this?

    Seems like a weird inconsistency glitch in the UI. It's there as long as it's future or present but then it's gone, once it's in the past. Even though especially then there shouldn't be any changes to it anymore..

    If this is coming, I think it would be important to then also automatically rename the bill to incorporate confirmation number and arrival date for example. Otherwise you might end up with a billing screen with tons of separate bills and they are all called "Open bill Guest xyz".

    Especially for those category overbookings it would be more helpful than only the red bars that are empty and you need to figure out, where it comes from..
