  2. Hi!
    Sometimes we receive a ton of information about the guest or the reservation via reservation notes from OTAs / TAs that are not structured and thus currently cannot be used to enhance the guest profile or reservation with structured data. LLM-AI analysis could potentiall understand the notes and make filter usable information and turn it into structured data.
    Example:
    Guest preferences: often times "high floor" "bath tub" "balcony" "quite room" "away from elevators" etc. are added to the reservation notes. matching those to the guest preferences available in profiles and space features before assigning a room would allow the…

  3. It would be great if we could receive a no-show report, either as an xml attachment in an email, or a pdf report through email.

    Currently the only way to check no-shows is on the day itself and there's no way to really gather statistics from this unless you keep track yourself.

  4. It would be helpful to select multiple room categories within the availability & occupancy report.
    At the moment it is only possible to select all or one room category. If you like to check on the availability of only a few space categories you have to search the whole list.

  5. The home page dashboard should auto-refresh whenever the user clicks the Mews logo or the action flow sends the user to the dashboard. The timeline auto-refreshes which is helpful knowing the content is accurate and can be seen changing in real-time such as when a reservation is moved from one space to another. The primary source of all summary information and donuts such as the home page dashboard should do the same.

  6. Hello everyone,

    I work a lot with accounting reports to provide data to external Excel files that create very clean dashboards. I have set up an automatic sending from Mews to my mailbox, but the Excel files are too large.

    Do you have any suggestions or possibilities to increase the maximum file size that can be sent to our mailbox? Receiving them by email saves me a lot of time since I manage six properties in Mews.

  8. We have just moved across to MEWS so far there is a lot to like, but there are a few issues that are making it a real pain at time...

    1) Ability to sort the timeline in numerical order, I appreciate all the other filter options but sometimes just viewing spaces in numerical order is greatly appreciated

    2) ability to use our own in house colours for reservations this allows a quick glance at the timeline to gain a lot of information without having to search for it

  11. We’d like to ask you to include the number of beds or guests in the Check-out report.

    We are a hostel, and when the reservation is for a private room, the system counts it as one departure. If we have a Private room - 8 beds, the system counts it as just one bed in the checkout report.

    That is a problem for example when we need to know in advance how many beds need to be cleaned to order next week's clean bed linen. If we have 20 single beds, one Private room - 8 beds, one Private room…

  12. It would speed up the selection of dates in the filters if one could just type then press tab key. Ideally it would auto populate the current year. Also, some date selections do not adjust the end date based on the selected start date so it takes quite a lot of clicks to, say, get the view of your OCC for next week. Same for changing rates for date ranges etc.

  14. Have a column for space status in the check out report so that the reception can see if the room has been cleaned or not . If the guest did leave without checking out and hk has cleaned the room, it automatically makes it dirty if we check the room out, therefore to make sure/make it easier to see the room status so that the reception can change the status back to inspected without having to click in to each reservation.

  16. Hi Mews

    We wish to send the breakfast list to our supplier along with the next day's breakfast orders. The product checklist is very useful, but we’d like to know if it’s possible to remove the guest names and display only the room numbers instead.

    Additionally, is there a way to automate this process by scheduling the list to be exported and sent out?

  17. A report that is exportable and can be filtered to display all space/room changes at different stages of the reservation, especially for Confirmed and Checked-in.

    **The Action Log displays space changes but does not allow the user to define reservation state.

  18. It would be far easier for management to see how many guests are present on any one night but having a simple sum total formula added at the base to see total occupants. It takes forever to click on every room, look to the right, log th number, then onto the next room and manually add up the occupants for all the rooms. Next to the customers name on the timeline it could also hold the number of occupants for that room/property so it can bee see at a glance instead of actually clicking on each room.

  19. We would like to receive the rebates report with the notes of our employees why they have cancelled the article. Now you can not see the notes and makes it hard to control voidings.

  20. Historical reports for past groups that show their pick-up, average rate, and total revenue.Historical group reports are important to most hotel’s performance. It is also needed on a weekly basis to complete the STR report for the previous week.
