I would also want to add the wish to seperate "charge cards online" into
1. "can charge card online through merchant" and
2. "can save credit card details under payments".The receptionists should have the possibility to save credit card details for guarantee in payments in the profile, but they should not be able to make the payment with one click in billing to charge the card and close the invoice.

Hi Mews community,
We are using Min stays restrictions extensively by Room categories. Unfortunately we came across some pretty non compliant behaviours where a Reservation agent will find no availability in one room type, so create a new booking in another room type, and then move the guest to the room type that was initially restricted.
Can we please create a Privilege around it, so only a few people can move Guest across different room categories? -

Very important to ensure confirmation emails are being sent to clients in case the email address has been taken wrong, to avoid no shows and for the client to ensure all details of their reservation are correct. Also when it comes to disputes with cancellation charges with clients claiming they have never received the confirmation.

Currently, the "managing reservations" privilege is very broad.
For example, the cutting keys privilege is lumped in with the manage reservations privilege.
In our hotel, it would be very helpful to let some employees cut keys, but not manage the entire reservation like changing dates, etc.For example, our nightguard has been messing around in a reservation after he cut a new key for a guest at night. It was not malicious intent, but I'd like to just avoid it as a whole.

This was only released for admins - would be great to front office and reservations to view this since they are the guest facing departments who need to check.

This is a critical improvement, all the privileges can see production information and not all user should see receipts, invoices and accounting info.
PS: An update was released this jan/23 adding roles and removing customer profile data, but users without privileges can still see invoice amounts and other production reports.

We would like to suggest eliminating to some employees/departments the possibility to see the prices in the system. Currently even the housekeeping department or a user with no privileges added to his / her profile can see the bills and invoices section with the tariffs applied to the reservations. We believe that such data shall be restricted to reservations or administration and not the housekeeping or maintenance team.

I love the new function to see the mail queue on the profile dashboard. This is amazing, so we can see exactly which communication was sent out for this particular guest.
After sharing the love and spreading the word about how amazing this new feature is with the teams, we quickly realized it is only available for admins.
In fact, this is most important for reservations and front desk who would have the guest standing in front of them/have them on the phone and need to have quick access on which booking/cxl confirmation was sent to the guest when.
If this can be made accessible it will be super helpful for the guest-facing teams. Admins don't deal with that every day - operations do. :-) -

Hi dear Mews product team. As it is an idea to upvote, can you please consider next one.
Actually mails are link to Guest profile, through the mail adress of the profile receiving the mail.
Which mean that if a guest reserve through BOOKING or another OTA or channel, with an 'non permanent' mail adress, and when the guest update his profile, or receptionnist update the profile, of that guest, the mail who was originaly attach to the mail adress, is been kept if the data files of our system, and we can retrieve it for the time we remember the original adress of that guest but lokking in the history mails of the PROFILE with the mail adress which is been change, the mail is dessapeared.
So can we suggest, that the mail keep attach to the guest name, or reservation, or may better when we 'merge' profile, that the mails move from one profile to the profile stayiong over as well ? Thank so much for the time you take to consider the request. Regards -
