  1. Separate out the option of Deleting Products from the current workplace privileges rights of Create and Manage Products, in our eyes the ability to delete a product should only be associated with select employees, but creating and updating products should be something more individuals should have access to, but we don’t want them all to be able to delete things.

  2. When selecting a room on the timeline and seeing the Details pane on the right side of the screen. Mews displays whether the guest has "checked-in online" or if they are "to be checked-in", however doesn't show the status of the room ie. CLE, DIR or INS.
    Would be beneficial to see if the room is clean or not to enable a faster and more pleasant check-in experience for the guest.
    A simple icon (similar to the one on the "Room Status" section) would be incredibly helpful.

  3. We close the Hotel for Christmas. I want toclose all my rooms for 3 days. But in Mews it's just possible to do that room by room. Why I don't can choose the rooms in a list. Now I make a reservation with 0 Euro for the whole Hotel. But in the statistics, it will appear as we was selling the rooms, even if the price is 0.

    The same when a client is changing to another room, you have to deparate the rooms ) but just when the client is allready check in, before i's not possible to separate…

  4. When checking in a guest in Mews it is not immediately apparent if their is a Payment Card on file unless you select the "Payment" button to see if one is present which is an extra click. If it is already there, it was a wasted click. If the card is not there, then you will need to enter the Payment Card. It would be good to see if a credit card is present or not in the reservation screen before you touch the "Check-in" button. Additionally, if there is no credit card or preauthorization on the card if Mews…

  5. it would be good if we could print an in-house guest list including mobile numbers. we use this for emergencies (i.e. fire roll call) and currently we are only able to print guest name, room number, number of occupants.

    for that same reason it would be good if we had the option to mark a guest as "requirying assistance" which would print on this report. that doesn't have to be a "disabled" person, but could be somebody with young children or difficulty walking

  6. When setting a task, everything needs to be typed, whereas a lot of time could be saved if the hotel could customise a list of templates to use.

    For example, 'Deliver Amenity' or 'Unzip Beds'. Quick little things like these!

  7. When in the billing screen of a reservation that is due out. It would be nice to have an option to Charge, Close and Check out.

    This would prevent us from having to go back into the reservation status and check out the room manually

  8. We are migrating all our services to Azure and towards Azure Active Directory for all our users. With this in mind we are looking for information whether Mews can be federated and connected to our AAD for authentication and managing all users directly through our AD rather than managing them from within Mews?

  9. Add a timeline/calendar where each department could log their rota to facilitate communication between teams and easily visualise who is working in each department at any given time.

  10. When making a space Out of Order, all reservations that are assigned to that space during the out of Order period should automatically be assigned to a different space. As of now we need to manually move each reservation during the period the room is out of order. This can be time consuming if the out of order room is one of the earlier automatically assigned space (bottom to top or vice versa) as Mews automatically allocates to the rooms.

  11. When you cancel a group reservation, the tasks attached to one of the reservation will remain active. It would be helpful if tasks can be solved by default after you cancel the reservation

  12. it is actually unworkable as it will try to update for at least 2 minutes (no exaggeration!)
    it does it for as good as all the actions you and you basically need to open a new mews session (or risk that you forgot what you were about to do in the first place)

  13. Be able to add text to a confirmation of a booking. e.g. add the time of golf arrangement, confirm table reservation, or congratulate on honeymoon etc

  14. Add a user right to override or bypass a restriction. This will allow a manger to make a reservation when hotel is closed for sale instead of deleting the restriction and creating it again

  17. Products and services that are bookable during the reservation process should have a Day of Week Restriction.

    IE: Hotel wants to offer a product that is only available if a guest is going to be staying over a Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday.

    If a guest is going to be checking in Sunday and Checking out Wednesday, the product should display and be bookable.

    However, if they are checking in Wedneday & Checking out Thursday, the product should not display and be bookable as they guest wont be in house when the product is offered.

  18. It is sometimes necessary to block more than one room out of order (an entire floor or entire building in the event of large scale refurbishment work, for example) and it would be helpful to be able to place multiple rooms 'out of order' at once if they all should be blocked for the same dates and same reason.

  19. When dealing with a booking extension ( checked-in) Mews automatically changes the room allocation to a new vacant room. This does not make any sense as the guest is already in house, and Mews should not be able to change by itself an In-house reservation. This is leading into a lot of check-ins into occupied rooms and therefore, guest complaints.

  20. Change MEWS timeline and space status colors back please, (blue = dirty, black = inspected, green = clean, yellow - ooo, red = oos)
