This is also crucial for us - I can't believe a big program like this doesn't have this feature - it's a must and a basic function in the other programs I have worked with.

Nous avons un cas qu'un groupe a loué une salle et que ce groupe-ci aimerait séparer les frais de manière égale. Malheureusement, ce n'est pas possible actuellement dans Mews. Dans les cas de groupe (et de compagnies), ils ont besoin de factures claires et bien distribuées. Cet outil est indispensable.

Dans le cas d'accueil de groupes et/ou de chambres twin il est très fréquent que les clients nous demande de diviser les frais soit de manière égales soit selon les prestations consommées. Une telle évolution est impérative.

Dazu wäre es gut, wenn eine Zahlung ebenfalls gesplittet werden kann. Es kommt manchmal vor, dass Gäste nach Zahlung sagen, dass die Rechnung aufgeteilt werden soll. Dann muss die Zahlung komplett storniert werden und neu aufgebucht. Ein Split wäre deutlich einfacher.

This should be a standard feature in a PMS.

very important for guests traveling together sharing a room and needing the proper documentation to expense. Each person needs to be able t oshow half the room charge and their payment. There need to be 2 separate bills that each show nightly charges and corresponding payments

I`d love to have an option to split a payment.

For example if a guest has an invoice for room and breakfast and needs those items on different bills.

Currently you can only do a refund and charge again or enable manual payments.
As manual payments are quite prone to errors we rather do not want to rely on them

This is a very important feature for group bookings as well! Would be great to have this option implemented.

We have a lot of meetings where 2 persons stay in a split double but everybody needs a separate bill for their company. Just making 2 payments on a bill where all 2 persons are listed is not an option.
Also we do have people staying for a business meeting (company pays), and the partner comes with them (double surcharge will be paid by themselfes). Now i can´t even split the breakfast for each person on a separate bill. At the moment i would have to post it on the room separately, but therefore i have to set the occupants to 1 person (and book 1 manually) and the housekeeping is confused because 2 are coming...

It is a lot of trouble to book everything true the guests name. Over time a lot of guests come with te same name. Also for our restaurant it would be much better to have a feature to book costs via a room number !

We have these cases multiple times a week.

This feature would be so helpful. It is very common on other PMS.

Hello, i think it is possible. First you charge an amount to the one person and the remaining amount to the other person. We use the Mews Terminal for payment and there you can manually type in the amount (if its not the entire amount).

It´s very important to be able to split. Small groups, companions, families with several rooms, we have requests every week.

Be able to split payments of a reservation by amount. in the bill.

For example:

A room cost 1500 SEK. one guest want to pay 500 SEK and one guest want to pay 1000 SEK

Atm, this option is not available.

It's difficult to understand that splitting products and items isn't possible.
For example: One room with two guests. One of the guests is participating in a seminar, the other one is a private companion. The room rate and breakfast for Guest One are charged to the company, while the other person pays for their breakfast and upcharge privately on site. And now?
Sorry, but it's a bit ridiculous that we have no simple solution and have to bend over backwards for this. You should develop it quickly in this case.

Splitting things is bread and butter!
Also quite nice would be sharer in a room with separate bills from the start with separate breakfast for each, but the system knows, that it´s a double room.
