I agree this is also super important to us and I don't understand why Mews is not following the same UX as when client is booking through Mews engine.

I am also reaching out with an important request regarding the restrictions functionality in Mews, as its current setup is having a direct impact on our revenue management.
At the moment, the restrictions module appears to be too basic for effective hotel revenue management. In our view, this functionality is business-critical and should be improved to meet basic requirements.
To give you a specific example: when we have two rate categories with different cancellation policies, where the first rate ends and the second rate starts on a certain date, the system does not seem to handle overlapping restriction periods correctly. If a reservation spans the end date of the first restriction and the start date of the second, no rooms are bookable anymore.
Your support team has been very helpful and confirmed that the system is currently not able to prioritise one restriction over another. However, this limitation creates a serious operational and revenue-related issue for us.
Could you please let us know how Mews intends to address this functionality gap, and whether there is a planned solution or workaround available?
