    We must create dedicated rates for 3/4 guests, derived by the standard rate for 2 people with a relative adjustment, just to get what we need.
    To manage so many rates is complicated and every time we create a restriction we must create one for each rate.

    I would rather ask the possibility to duplicate the restrictions or the possibility to select many rates or space categories into the same restriction

    Hello from the Mews product team.

    At the moment we feel that the functionality around restrictions is flexible.

    You are able to apply restriction across different rates using rate groups for example, or apply them to the base rate which will restrict all related rates. Please check out our Help guides on https://help.mews.com/en/ for more information about our restrictions functionality.

    We also introduced the ability to view restrictions on a calendar which provides a great overview of currently applied restrictions.

    Therefore, we are currently not prioritising this request, but we will keep it open for further comments and opportunity to upvote, especially around the requests of being able to select multiple space types to apply the restriction to.

    Hello everyone,

    Thanks for the feedback.

    The reason for us holding the 7 days preauthorization is because the usual time frame for holding a pre-authorization before either capture or releasing of the funds can range between 7-14 days from time of processing the pre-auth. Also, the time the pre-authorization is held prior to capture is up to the issuing bank to determine and it’s at the total discretion of the issuing bank, unfortunately.

    But I am moving the feedback to the level of the “idea to upvote” and keeping it open for any additional upvote, discussion, or add on you might have!

    Also an authomatic preauthorization update after 7 days for some periods would be fine.

    Hi Mewsers,
    we just enabled the partial customization of the Before start email which is sent 48 hours before guest’s arrival.

    You can now add personalized details, such as specific arrival information or keep guests informed on your social distancing policies and encourage them to check in online.

    to customize the text of each mail template you can use mailchimp to create different and complete templates, after creating them you can export them in HTML and opening them with a note app you just have to copy and paste it into mews.. By the way it is still unfunctional having only one template for each trigger, so I upvoted this, too. I agree with Benno about 1)b and about 3) and 4)

    the package with the SETTING "BILL AS A PACKAGE" should remain packaged into the bill when it is sent to the fiscal printer by mews connector.
    Instead it is now displayed item by item also when they should be encrypted into a package.

    Hello from the Mews product team,

    Thank you for the suggestions and upvotes.

    With the addition of the Optimise Space allocation on the timeline, the old tetris game just got easier!

    Not only do you have to worry less about playing tetris on the timeline, you can also choose to move reservations to an extra slot from the reservations module by selecting “none” instead of selecting a room number; this action can be performed for several reservations.

    You’ll now be able to view the reservation(s) that you have moved in the overbooking slot from the timeline, from here you can easily arrange and rearrange reservations as per your preference, or select the optimise timeline button to automatically move the reservations to an optimal location.
