I would think this would be helpful for a lot of propertie, to have the choice to do this. As Lorenzo write, every other PMS has this as an option. It does create a lot of problems to have it mixed as it is.
If we have 200 rooms and they are all mixed in order - it is a mess

Hi Mewsers,
if you have online check-out enabled, guests receive the copy of their bill to their mailbox right after they finish online check-out. (they receive only copy of the bill which was closed by guest during the online. check-out.).Other bills closed via Commander are not being sent automatically to the guest yet.

Dont see a reason for this not to be done, every guest wants an invoice. Every other service provides you with a proper invoice after purchase. Please make this happen

I see that this is "idea to upvote" in dec 2021, however March 2025 nothing has been done, how does it work?
To constantly having to manually select the days vs the system picking up on todays date (as in the product reports) and then for ex 14 days forward or 30 days forward is a lot of manual clicks and makes the custom links take longer to use than if you would just look for everything again. Could there please be a change in this? :)

Hi everyone, we know this idea was logged a long time ago and we thank you for the feedback and ideas about how to improve the system. We do keep an eye on these requests and how they're progressing and we recognise we have room to improve in terms of providing feedback.
This idea has become a large group of different requests, so I want to clarify the intention and progress related to this. Please do reply and comment as necessary.
We have previously made progress towards a big part of the original intent of this idea by introducing a 'Check in form' configuration in Mews Operations. You can find more details on this in our help guides here. We are not yet marking this as complete until we deliver some further enhancements to which guests the data can be configured for. We plan to share more on this…

This is a must please.
It needs to be clear to the guest how much each night costs.
If one night is 1000 SEK and the other is 3000 SEK and the guest cancel one night, suddenly the charge in creates dramatically so the guest needs to be aware of that.

Every Hotel in Sweden has breakfast included (as many across the world).
If a guest is staying 4 nights with 4 different rates for each night then the guest would like to have that on the receipt not just a total amount.
However, since we need to hide the breakfast split this is not possible and then we have guests who are unsatisfied with the receipt.

I see this post started 2 years ago.
This creates so much work for us. This is one of the top reasons I would not recommend Mews of this does not get sorted. Or as the other post said - option to remove certain rooms from this option.
If we choose by ”bottom up” - all our pet rooms get automatically taken c same category but ability to have pet. If we choose top down - all our feather beds and best view rooms get taken. We can not create different categories only because of this.
Our only option is to choose ”by features” meaning random. When we then book in groups. For example we have 3 groups of 25 rooms weekly. We then need to manually adjust all of these rooms to make sure they don’t get spread out all over the hotel.
Please please - make this an option. We want to remove it or have an option to have certain spaces not allocated.

This would be soooooo helpful.
Most hotels have certain rooms with features that they don’t want be automatically places.

Idea to upvote January 2024 - I don’t know any other pms system that doesn’t have this feature. This together with the lack of sorting abilities and rate depended on2 persons. Is making me not wanting to recommend Mews to other Hotels sadly. It has been 1 years since this request. It is very critical

Super important for us too. Must be important for all hotels. There is a big difference between a 1 year old vs adult. I am really surprised this is not an option

This is a must. Every Hotel cleans by corridor, most Hotels have different category of rooms in each corridor. This means that the Housekeeping Manager needs to manually choose the rooms going forth and back.
It also a lot harder for the receptionists to keep track. There should be both options for Hotels depending on their need.
Best is for all sorting to be done by clicking on the name everywhere on the screen - including reservation report. This is very time consuming with the filters vs. For ex pressing “Last Name” on the top, then sorting everything by name or however you’d like it sorted.
However rooms number is critical for us.
