  1. The new messages functionality is a huge improvement for guest communication. It would be very useful to have additional options like archive/delete, mark as unread and star messages from customers (or internally).

  3. Bexio.com is a great accounting tool which enforces more automation for accounting and invoice as well as crm and e-commerce. A MEWS integration could save many manual processes!

  5. Comm-Unity provides a guest reporting portal in Austria and an interface to this portal will ensure that all local guest are reported to the local authorities automatically.

  6. When automating reports for INSTITUTO NACIONAL ESTADISTICA (INE) in Spain, would be very convenient to split or segregate the report into different business lines. For instance between two or more different hotels (or according to each business configuration, between different room types)

    Other wise the hotel must rebuild the report manually, wasting time and efforts.

    An integration to Mews will enable upselling and posting of skipasses on guest profile level.

  8. Calendar needs to be configurable to have weeks starting on Sunday.
    In the U.S., the vast majority of guests are used to a Sunday-Saturday calendar.
    We have had multiple guests who booked a Saturday & Sunday night stay but intended to book a Friday & Saturday night stay.
    This causes problems later if the inn is all booked, as these guests cannot stay the night they expected.

  10. Get Customers response requested by guest room key NFC UID

    As POS Operator I want to use a guest room key UID (16 digit Hex code e.g., 803687a2415404) to search for the guest on the POS so that do not have to ask for the guests room number and can use the same method to pay and justify a room posting.

    Given I greet a guest at the Hotel Restaurant when tap the guest room key on my POS mobile device (NFC reader) then the Interface response with customers details base on the guest room key UID.

We are currently using a 1 property set-up to manage 2 different properties in mews as reservations are sometimes moved between both properties and the multi property set-up doesn't allow to just switch bookings. Because of this 1 property set-up, we can only link 1 of our properties to the Google Hotel Search integration. Therefore it would be usefull for us to link our separate property (with different address) to google as well.

    In our opinion, the necessary fields for google could be filled-in in the integration itself, and not taken from the property settings in mews.

  15. automated Guest Satisfaction data uploading to qualtrics for The Leading Hotels of the World (LHW).

    Daily automatically upload data of guests that have checked out on that specific date to qualtrics SFTP server.

  18. When a refund is done via a group bill and the refunds are added to the individual reservations (so that the refund accounting items are added to these reservations), the reservations themselves are not marked as being updated (UpdatedUTC). Therefore, if you perform a query to check for updated reservations, these reservations are not sent and thus we miss getting the updates for these reservations.

    So our request: update the UpdatedUTC for reservations when a refund is done via a group bill, since accounting items were added to these reservations.
