  1. In some cases, guest wants to book a specific space (favorite room for example) or want to make sure as a family they have rooms next to each other. Currently that is not possible via our booking journey on the BE.

When a customer buys a voucher (gift card) on vouchercart or any other gift card integration, we want the gift card balance to be pushed to Mews AND deduced from any future invoice that the customer makes, which is not currently the case. All gift cards vouchers are therefore completely useless. Not having a 100% fully automatic gift card system in a hotellerie management software in 2023 is not solving a stone age problem.

  4. After the booking is complete, the confirmation back page does not show the guest name. It would be nice if it can show this information. As of now, it only shares the confirmation number, check in dates, price, and room type.

    It would be helpful to show the name of the guest as well.

  5. We only want to offer some room types to familes, which you can do on internal bookings but not on the engine, Can we have a systemt that only shows the childrens rooms when a guest adds a child in on the first page please

  6. It would be great if you can set a limit on bookable items. For instance a max amount of 3 for late check-outs or early check-ins. That way you can upsell without putting too much pressure on the housekeeping team.

  8. Currently the emails that are sent use the location name as the 'Sender' name. We would like to customize this, so that regardless of location, emails sent to our guests are using our company name (or something else).

  9. Groups quotations links are working a miracle. However, there is potentially simple and significant space for improvement.

    When guest follows the link, in Mews BE nothing presellected and guest have to go over and over and add the room types and pax. Even if they will select correct number of pax, but locate just 1 to different room type as per what the quotation was prepared for, it won't go through and you won't know why. If, however all will be preselected, guest would only have to go through the extras and payment pages.

  11. We need to be able to edit the term "categories" - my hotel is 13 rooms and they're all unique so they're all their own categories and users, when they are invited to explore other rooms with availability it reads "other categories with availability" which to the user makes no sense. One simple field in the back end for how to refer to "categories" would make a huge difference for our business.

  12. Please make it possible to show more rates than only 1 rate per rate group in the booking engine. We have multiple rates (packages) per rate group. if we need to give all the rate's a rate group than we need to make over 25 rate groups. this will then be extremely difficult to handle for the employees as they have to go trough a large list.

  13. Allow products to be bought per person rather than based on number of people in the room e.g room is booked for 2 people but only 1 person want a massage which is an extra. Currently you can only book 1 if you choose once or per person and it is based on the number of people in the room

  14. Vouchers can be associated with companies or travel agencies (instead of being public). However, currently, when a voucher is used to book a reservation, there is no voucher information or company / travel agency information attached to that reservation in Mews.

    It would be very helpful if company / travel agency and voucher codes could be attached to reservation data and if those voucher-based reservations can be searched for through the reservations reports.

  15. When a reservation is created via the booking engine with an invalid payment the guest does not receive any email to tell them a reservation is on hold. The guest does receive however a cancellation email when the cancellation 'booking abandoned'. This is causing many confusions and complaints as guests did not know to begin with that a reservation is being held, they should not receive an email when this cancels .

  16. Add the possibility to add conditions for the automatic emails.
    For instance, when a guest create a last minute booking and a pre-checkin email is is sent, make sure no other email is sent to fill the profil on the same day.

  20. Ability to add mandatory fields in Mews Booking Engine and transfer this data into the reservation information in form of notes or tasks automatically. Example, what is mandatory now is last name, email and if selected telephone number. We would like to have the ability to have specific preferences to better enhance the guest stay such as high floor, quiet location, near elevator, ADA. Also include the ability to have the guest select an estimated arrival time, example 8pm. This will improve housekeeping productivity.
