  1. Adding new item to product folder

    When taking in a new item in ie White wines-folder it would be good to automatically change the icon color for the same as the others.

  2. Default settings on products in report

    When taking product report at the end of day it would be easier if you could set a default for items that need to be inventoried daily ie beers, alcohol and soft drinks. So you don't for example miss one and have to do it again.

  3. Remember the outlet selection

    We have a resort with multiple outlets (reception, restaurant, gift shop etc). When ever we sell something we have to choose the correct outlet every single time. This is somewhat annoying as our POS devices are stationary and always/99% of time tied to a particular outlet. Thus there is absolutely no need to confirm before every sales action that "yes, still the gift shop". Ideally we would select the outlet once and the system would remember that selection until changed. The current way is not very user-friendly.

  4. Adding the reason of a cancelled product to the kitchen receipt

    When the Service team is cancelling a product from an order, the kitchen gets the information as " invalidate order" but the reason the service writes down, they don't see. It would help to add the reason to the ticket so there is less questions.

  5. Individual change of the design for the digital invoice

    The possibility of changing the design of the reciepts for the guests would be much appreciated. At least just the top picture, which by now just is an extract from a google maps-like overview of the area. This does not look very professional - the company logo, for instance, would be much more applicable.
    Also, as others have mentioned, it would be much more professional is the products in the bundles could not be shown by default, as I don't think this necessarily is relevant info for the guests. Especially not if the bundle is made up by split products…

  6. Have the production printer printing 2 or more tickets instead of one.

    Currently there is a field called "Auto printer mode" which allows to select the number of tickets to be printed for each order. But this field does not work for production printers, only for receipt and cash drawer printers) and the only solution is to attach a printer several times to an outlet if an order ticket should be printed several times. This means reentering the printer definition (IP address, model, etc.) several times, as there is no way to simply duplicate a printer with a button.   7. Have the possibility to automatically switch the Outlet depending on business hours

    Currently there is a field "Business hours" in the Outlet definition. Why not enhancing this field to enter Outlet start and end times, and automatically open and close outlets depending on business hours.

    It would be useful to have some beforehand notice about when the system automatically updates. We can not have this happen during the lunch rush.

  9. Rabatt auf einzelne Produkte

    Einen Rabatt auf ein einzelnes Produkt hinzuzufügen ist mit der Funktion "Rabatt" nicht möglich. Jedes Mal das Produkt zu bearbeiten um einen Rabatt hinzuzufügen ist sehr umständlich für unsere Servicemitarbeiter. Ich bitte daher um eine schnelle und eimfachere Handhabung für diesen Fall.

  10. twee betaalterminals koppelen

    Wanneer je op betalen klikt, is er nu maar 1 mews betaal terminal zichtbaar. Ik heb begrepen dat er nu geen functie is om er twee te selecteren in dit betaalscherm (naast cash, aanbieding verzenden, etc.) - dit lijkt een gemiste kans gezien vast meer bedrijven twee mews terminals gebruiken! ;)

  11. Exchange from credit card to cash

    Possibility to exchange credit card to cash. If customer would like to get coins it would be nice to be able to charge credit card and then exchange it to cash.

  13. Digital orders should not need to be accepted

    Digital orders should not need to be accepted in the POS and should instead print directly to the assigned printer. We work in a light staffed operation and constantly monitoring a tablet for orders is not efficient. I print out that is clearly visible is much easier for our operation

    Hemos implementado el programa hace unas semanas en nuestros hoteles y en todos estamos de acuerdo en que el tamaño de letra de las comandas es demasiado pequeño.
    Nuestra sugerencia es aumentar el tamaño de letra de los platos que aparecen en la comanda (la letra que sale antes de los platos se lee mejor).
    Y por otro lado, el simbolo "+" delante de cada modificador en algunos platos (como por ejemplo: los puntos de la carne) tiene un significado y puede llevar a errores durante un servicio. Proponemos utilizar otro simbolo que no tenga ningun tipo de significado en…

  16. POS - Automating Revenue Center allocation based on time of day or shift

    In certain hotels, predefined shift schedules are in place. During these shifts, the revenue recorded in the Mews POS system is expected to be allocated to a specific Revenue Center. Currently, staff members are required to manually assign each order to the appropriate Revenue Center. It would be highly beneficial to have a feature that automatically assigns the Revenue Center according to the time of day. For instance, all revenue generated between 06:00 and 11:00 hours could be automatically directed to the ‘Breakfast’ Revenue Center.

  17. Why not having a common shortcut grid for all device types (smartphone, pad)?

    Currently you need to define separate shortcut grids for Smartphone devices and Pad devices. This means double work when adding new products, and risk of inconsistencies between both device types.

  20. Bill Customization

    Please implement more granular customization options for bills. Specifically, there should be a way to account for the tax on restaurant items being sent by Lightspeed when the tax has already been applied. This is causing significant inconvenience for properties, as they are forced to manually remove the duplicate tax entries in Mews.

    Desired outcome:

    1. The total amount of the Lightspeed Bill to appear in MEWS as one product or line item that is not taxable.
    2. The Mews bill should only be showing taxes applied to Accommodation
