Digital orders should not need to be accepted in the POS and should instead print directly to the assigned printer. We work in a light staffed operation and constantly monitoring a tablet for orders is not efficient. I print out that is clearly visible is much easier for our operation

We want to fully implement self-service digital ordering, where guests order items for pickup at reception. However, the current setup requires staff to manually accept and print each order in the POS system.
This manual step creates friction, slows service, and limits the potential of in-app ordering. To solve this, we propose adding an option to auto-confirm and auto-print digital orders directly to the kitchen or bar, just like in-person POS entries.
This simple change would:
- Streamline operations for staff
- Improve the guest experience
- Unlock significant sales potential for Mews POS clientsPlease consider making this a configurable feature. It would be a big win with minimal complexity.
