  1. Current situation: E.g. If a guest selects the dates for a 3 night stay and we have restrictions with minim. 4 nights, the dates suggested by the WBE are often not even close to the dates the guest had in min.

    Suggestion for solution: The WBE instead suggests an additional night to the guest, so e.g. Guest search for accommodation 21-24th of March where the minimum stay is 4 nights, WBE then suggests 20-24th of March OR 21-25th of March.

    That way the guest doesn't think we are fully booked and understands the minimum stay better. Now it only says…

  2. In order to check if restrictions are still valid / necessary, the occupancy (overall and per room type) should be displayed in the restrictions calendar (as in rate management). This is very important to check if MLOS and close restrictions are still valid.

  3. Segments are attached to rate codes in the settings of Mews. The segment attached to a rate code should always be attached to reservations with that rate code. Currently when users change the rate code of a reservation it retains the original segment. Additionally, users should not be able to change a segment on a reservation as this should be locked to the rate code.

  4. A tick box on space types when setting los restrictions, at the minute you have to do every date individually, along with every space, so if you have 17 space types, and want a los on Saturday nights, you have to set the restriction 17 times for 1 day, 884 restrictions just for Saturdays, would be much easier if you could select the space via a tick box, at the minute if you do a generic restriction, you cant undo just one space.
    This could also be applied to rate codes.

  6. Currently having a MLOS exception and maximum advance exception for close to stay restriction does not work.

    An example would be having a close to stay restriction for the Saturdays, except if they book 2 nights, OR if they book within 7 days before arrival (maximum advance).

    So what I want is a MLOS2 restriction for the Saturdays, but when it is 7 days before arrival, no restriction at all.

    It is probably a setup with an AND/OR rule.

  7. When we create a new rate in the Channel Manager, it would be best practice if we could only send that rate to the channel manager and not all the rates that we have in the channel manager as how is today. Of cause, we need to have a "full property push" available, but the option to push just the newly created rate would be the best in a day-to-day basis. Then the data that we send out is going to be much less.

  8. When you try to delete a rate, it can be very frustrating to have to find out it is linked to your channel manager / has restrictions / linked to another rate / has a voucher....
    why not allow you tick boxes to do this whilst you are in the rate you want to delete?
    it took me about 5 minutes for something that should be able to be done in 30 seconds!

  9. Would it be useful if it was possible to generate a direct booking url for each rate you create.

    This will enable you to link your promotions directly to the Booking Engine.

    It will also allow you to provide your corporate clients with a link directly to their rate, as a supplement to the rate access voucher

  10. We often do have companies with different addresses and also subsidiaries or just partners and we can apply negotiated rates. Would it be possible to apply company vouchers/rates when making a reservation ? at present, on the first page of a new reservation only public vouchers are visible to staff. We would need company vouchers in order to speed reservation process. Later on, new company profile with new voucher will be created, but as you know, it is quite time consuming and not all staff are eligible to create/link rates and vouchers.

  11. When adding a product, it is automatically added to all booking engines. However, we offer different products in different booking engines (for example for certain events or retreats). Please enable to add or delete products to certain booking engines or to restrict products from other booking engines or rates.

  13. extra bed in item to be added automatically when the room is booked for 3.
    Although we put in rate and room description that for the 3rd guest, extra £25 will be added for the extra bed, any prepaid rate plans debit the guest for the whole stay excluding the extra bed £25 per night. As a result, some guests refuse to pay the extra amount after having been debited.

  14. The term Last Room Value (LRV), refers to the maximum revenue a hotel can expect to make from the last room it has available for sale. It is used to avoid selling the last room below a certain rate – as when market demand is high the last room may be sold at a higher rate then normal

  15. Da wir viele Produkte haben müssen diese übersichtlicher sein.
    Aktuell kann nicht angewählt werden wie viele von diesen Produkten gebucht werden möchten. Das heisst: wenn jemand zwei Hunde mitnimmt, muss ein extra Produkt erfasst werden mit 2 Hunde. Es kann nicht die Anzahl vom Produkt 1 Hund auf 2 erhöht werden. Jede Anzahl braucht ein einzelnes Produkt.
    1x ein Hund – 1x zwei Hunde. Dasselbe ist mit den Tickets, die wir verkaufen.
    Der Wunsch ist, dass der Gast das Produkt Hund anwählen kann und dann manuell mit einer Zahleingabe auswählen kann wie viele Hunde er mitnimmt.

  17. we seem to have an issue suddenly when creating a booking where the voucher rates are not displayed when attaching a company. this company has not got a voucher attached and if we leave the company blank, the correct voucher rates will display and are bookable.
    this never happened before, so it looks like something has gone wrong in the last couple of hours.

  19. Allow in restrictions the option to apply to same day bookings only. Right now you can only choose a 1 day restriction instead of same day.

  20. Functionality to allow Room Type Overbooking while maintaining total capacity of the hotel.
    When noticing high volumes of demand for standard rooms and upgrades won't sell, you can allocate an amount of rooms you want to overbook on the standard room while still maintaining the total capacity of the hotel.
