  1. Section to enter arrival date and then number of nights for long stays. Instead of working out what 31 nights would be for example and using the calendar. This would then display a list of rooms availble for the number of nights entered.

  4. while changing the room type from the property tab under the reservation for the same day reservation or for the future it is hard to change to room type without knowing if the other room type is available on that day or not so while making those changes the mews can show the room type in red if the front desk in moving the reservation to already booked room type.

  6. Ich möchte, dass man über die Funktion "House Use" mehrere Zimmer in einem Schlag wählen kann. Somit könnte man zum Beispiel vielen Zimmer vor Ankunft einer Gruppe am Vorabend blockieren (es ist nur eine Beispiel)

  7. Currently, if a reservation is for multiple rooms, the cancellation policy remains the same as that of the rate group for which they were booked. It would be better, and easier to mitigate the risk of losing of a multi-room reservation, if there was an option of another cancellation policy being available once a minimum number of rooms have been reserved. This would allow us to change the cancellation period, meaning that they have to provide us with more notice of cancellation.

  8. In the availability report, the colomn on the left with the roomtypes, should always show the total number of rooms that you have of this roomtype.
    Indepent if a room is OOO or not. Rooms OOO should be treathed as occupied, ie. only affecting the availability per day in the rest of the columns.

It is sometimes necessary to block more than one room out of order (an entire floor or entire building in the event of large scale refurbishment work, for example) and it would be helpful to be able to place multiple rooms 'out of order' at once if they all should be blocked for the same dates and same reason.

  10. Currently we can 'Create a Key' for a reservation that isn't inhouse. I suggest this button isn't available for team members to click until the guest is in house. There is a 'Check in and Create Key' button which can be used initially, then once the guest is in house the 'Create a Key' button can be available to click. This will prevent guests being issued a key without being checked in accidentally.

  11. When help is needed in the operation with stripping rooms, the ability to print a VD list, or VC, VI, OOO, & OOS.
    This is basic hotel 101 operation when many employees are involved.

    Ex: houseperson going to take trash from VD rooms, Operations manager going to strip rooms of dirty linens. We all want to be on the same page and not be confused of who went where or who didn't go into a room.

  12. If we make an optional reservation for our guests and send them our offer. The guests confirm the reservations through the link but the responsible employee/department do not get any information or notification, so it is problematic to keep track of these bookings. It would be great to get atleast a pop up notification if the guests confirm there reservations. This information is essential for internal planning for almost every property.

  13. Notifications 🔔 should be sent to the mobile app. This is where we need to be alerted for up-to-the-minute items!

  14. It would be great to be able to choose consumption date and time when setting product rules - For example If the product should be added on arrival date or in the night.

    When you have a package that includes dinner at the arrival date it's not optimal to have the consumption date, by defualt set as the day after if the product is added through a product rule.

    As it is now this affects the product reports in a negative way.

  15. since a couple of weeks, the timeline doesn't automatically adjust when you change the dates on a house use booking. you need to refresh the page all the time, which is quite annoying.

  16. If I want to make a room change, I can't if we are full!! That doesn't make sense at all.

  17. For confirmed bookings we can set up a default send/do not send for confirmations. Quotations for optional bookings are currently send by default, we would like to adjust the default setting to do not send.

  18. Sometimes a guest messages us on the MEWS platform, and then calls and we are able to answer their enquiry over the phone.
    I would then like to be able to mark their message as completed without the guest having to see. This way the next person on front desk will not come along and think that the enquiry still needs to be answered.

  19. Availability blocks currently only allow the option to enter 1 specific rate for a block. Since we operate with different rates based on roomtypes, and a group often combines roomtypes, it would be great being able to select multiple rates.
    Also offering a group to book online with a discount based on public rates, it would be good to be able to offer them both a discounted flexible rate and a discounted non-refundable rate.

  20. For reporting purposes and data analysis, it would be good to have the possibility to chose whether or not we want to incl/excl OOO rooms. At the moment, MEWS deducts this automatically
